We stayed for 2 nights (over 100 €). Lady at the reception very friendly and helpful. Restaurant closed, toilet facilities in the old building very old but clean. New toilet facilities available but with very simple construction. No dogs allowed at the natural lake, no matter how hot it was. Not even allowed to walk along the edge, even though this is the direct path to the hiking trails to Wemding. We will not come back. Beautifully situated landscape. The site has potential.

Beautiful terraced campsite. Not very crowded. The ground is rocky, so it’s a nightmare for tent pegs. The sanitary facilities are partially old, but we don’t mind as they are very clean. Direct access to the bathing lake. There is a kiosk, a waterslide and a very nice children's playground. There is no catering at the campsite, and the small shop’s selection is limited to drinks, ice cream, sweets, and cigarettes. The Wi-Fi is only usable in very few places. Overall, we find the site too expensive unless you enjoy traveling Spartan-style and prefer solitude.

Good location, beautiful pitches, lake Campsite very little occupied despite mid-May Essentially a lovely terraced campsite, located by the lake, Sanitary facilities in the main building old but clean New sanitary building with a total of 6 showers seems very little when the campsite is full, washing facilities mixed, only toilets are separated Water temperature lukewarm, pressure very variable (when, for example, someone is in the toilet), hot water only available in the dishwashing area Price: 44 € for 2 people in a car (without tent), without electricity = Price for a motorhome with 2 adults and 2 children under 14 years There are no smaller pitches! Restaurant closed until further notice.

A week before Pentecost and the place is almost empty. For good reason. The grounds are very beautiful, but neglected. There are hardly any paths, and even less lighting at night. The restaurant has been closed for years. Bun service is available in the main season. The sanitary facilities in the main building are in urgent need of renovation. The new sanitary building will certainly be nice when it is finally finished. For the price, the place is currently absolutely too expensive. Wemding and the Ries are always worth a trip.

Were there yesterday, huge construction fence to the pool 1 km to unsecured street at the entrance of the pool, which includes the restaurant already closed, renovation urgently needed and prices for all that were empty according to the camping owner allegedly increased due to Corona for one night to stay 49,-€ not correct, will never come back.

Due to Corona, there is no direct access to the lake anymore, requiring a detour of about 1 km. Site illumination at night is poor. Too expensive.

We were only there for one night. The staff is very friendly, but that was about it. Everything is influenced by permanent campers. These sites are mostly unkempt and unsightly. The tourist sites are very small, with the ground mostly consisting of compacted clay. The tiny beach access (about 2-3 meters wide) is likely due to the permanent campers who have taken over the rest of the lakeshore. The sanitary facilities are somewhat aged but clean. During pandemic times, I expected a bit more, e.g., hand sanitizer at the entrance of the sanitary building. Other than that, half of the sinks were closed off, and nothing was done against Corona, yet they charged a hygiene surcharge of 1 Euro per day! In the restaurant on the site, there was not enough distance, and there was no list to sign in. We will never return!

The place is usually very nice, however, a 2-meter high construction fence has been erected around the lake. Access is only possible via the outdoor pool. An existing gate is not opened despite requests, so one has to walk around it, crossing the street without a sidewalk, which is not safe with children. As long as the fence stands, the campsite is no longer recommended.
