The washrooms are unfortunately not very good. Especially with small children, the designated changing and children’s washroom is missing. The playground was very good. The dining options were also only partially open, which I find incomprehensible during the peak season.

We booked a late departure, 2 days before departure I still clarified where we would drop off the key, as the reception would have already been closed at 6:00 PM. Everything was still fine at that point. On the day of departure, the reception came and informed us that the Holly was rented out again and that they practically had to kick us out.

Good location, the sanitary facilities are okay but have aged. Unfortunately, there is no grocery store on the camping site in Tossens at Friesenstrand. There is no electricity at every pitch.

I would conditionally recommend the campsite. The showers in one area (container) didn’t work at all and in the sanitary building, the showers were unfortunately often only cold - this can't be their intention! Toilets and washbasins could have been cleaned more often - I don’t want to know what it looks like when the site is fully booked during holiday times! Paper towels or soap were often empty for over 20 hours. The staff is good and tries hard, but the gas-water installation and also the somewhat rundown facilities can’t replace this. It would be nice to have bread roll orders at the campsite - this could be thought about.

The atmosphere could be enhanced by flowers and gastronomy in the square. Everything seemed a bit neglected. The sanitary facilities were clean. Everything was okay.

Great campsite with friendly staff. We arrived spontaneously and had free choice of places. 70 steps to the sea. The sanitary building was always clean. We felt very comfortable with our little Yorkshire terrier. Those seeking peace and relaxation are exactly right here. Beautiful excursions can also be made from here. There are many delicacies at the Frisian beach. We will definitely come back. The best mudflat ever.

Unfortunately, there is a lot to be done here! Personal opinion: Due to the great location and the local conditions, money can be made. The site is completely neglected, dogs cost extra - there are no dog bags. Trash cans = non-existent. Shower and toilet buildings have not been maintained or renovated for years. Max. cleaned once a day and unfortunately many campers behave badly. Washing containers are an insult - shower hose broken, door glass broke with injury hazard... - stayed that way. Everywhere poisonous plants - mowing would at least help here. Everywhere leftovers from previous permanent campers - plates/stones on the floors, posts driven in... Site numbers are searched for in vain, paths full of potholes, for example, an extremely long way from the tent field to the multifunctional building, baby bath = just disgusting. The location is nice - but really expensive for so little. Playground and everything else counts as part of the city.
