Campingpark Südheide

The large pitches and the sanitary facilities were very good, but the specified Wi-Fi reception was poor.

It would be nice to have a small restaurant on-site!

We visited for the second time with our children and grandchildren, a total of 7 people. We were once again completely thrilled, especially with the new sanitary facilities and the fantastic, well-equipped camping kitchen, which we also used several times. We will definitely come back.

We've been here for the third time now and are always thrilled. This time we had to register a teenager and a dog, which was not a problem at all. The sanitary facilities are always clean, and the staff is very helpful. The site is also very clean, with plenty of training opportunities on the dog area, only it's a pity that there are families/ kids who feel the need to damage these out of boredom. The horse boarding is also always excellent, my ponies feel very comfortable there, and one day we'll manage to come with the carriage and finally drive there. 🥰 Overall, just super!!!!

The campsite is beautifully situated. We were very close to the pond and were thrilled with the size of our pitch and the many tall old trees. The sauna area is tastefully and high-quality furnished. It takes a little getting used to the algae in the natural pool. Unfortunately, the leisure options for teenagers were not very good. Both the football and volleyball court are unfortunately more like a field than a sports area (molehills, holes in the ground, uncut and thus a high risk of twisting an ankle). I would definitely wish for a bit more maintenance or quality here (at least a level surface and maybe sand for the volleyball court). However, the offerings for the many (!) small children are great. It would also be nice to have a dining option, not directly next to the bouncy castle.

We felt wonderfully comfortable at the campsite; everything is so well thought out. We also really liked the option to cook in the kitchen or use the dishwasher. The details for the children were an absolute highlight. We will definitely come back.

A fantastic, clean, and peaceful campsite.

The chalet is excellent. However, it lacks a covering for the terrace. Additionally, it would be better if one or two LED lamps were installed right by the washing area. Unfortunately, the internet is mostly poor – both the Wi-Fi and the mobile network have only a weak signal. Other than that, the campsite is very nice and well-maintained.
