Campingpark Südheide

Unfortunately, the back part was closed. This made it a bit cramped.

It was great as always. There's nothing negative to report.

Very beautiful sites, easy online check-in. Well-maintained grounds, with the highlight being the sauna area.

There are no cutlery baskets for your wonderful dishwashers.

Everything is very good, especially noteworthy are the very large pitches and the excellent sanitation facilities.

Camping Park Südheide is very well-kept, and the pitches are generously spaced out. The new washrooms are a dream and very clean. The site is very family- and dog-friendly. The surroundings invite great hikes and bike rides. The only downside was the rumbling noises from the shooting exercises at the nearby training areas, which terrified our dog.

We booked one of the chalets with two bedrooms, and we received a very clean chalet. It’s wonderful how much sense of space and functionality can be achieved in a small chalet without losing attention to detail. The condition was top-notch. This is also reflected throughout the entire facility, whether it’s the washrooms, communal kitchens, swimming pond, playgrounds, etc. everything is well-maintained and in great condition. The staff at the reception were also very friendly and helpful. We can wholeheartedly recommend this campsite; our daughter (7 years old) would have gladly booked our next stay right away.

We spent the weekend at site 77. Initially, I was skeptical about the cashless payment system, but everything worked smoothly in the end. Upon arrival, we were able to drive directly to our pitch without having to get out of the car, which we found very comfortable. The campsite is vast, and there is a lot to explore: playgrounds, a fire pit, a dog training area, hammocks, several water points, a football pitch, table tennis tables, and you can even arrive with your horse. A big compliment goes to the cleaning staff for keeping the sanitary facilities extremely clean. Really great! The only thing I found a bit too soft were the rolls, but that's a matter of taste. Overall, it's a fantastic place that we would love to revisit and can wholeheartedly recommend.
