With its own horse boarding facility, colourful children's programme and a natural swimming pond, Campingpark Südheide in Winsen, Lower Saxony, is a family leisure paradise in the Lüneburg Heath. The dog-friendly campsite with pitches for caravans and motorhomes is idyllically situated between meadows and forests on the banks of the Örtze Heath stream. Canoe and SUP hire is available for water adventures on the nearby Aller. After excursions, the campsite's own wellness area with sauna in the modern multifunctional building promises pure relaxation. A food truck spoils you with snacks.

Spacious, park-like grassy site with a natural swimming pond. Mostly dotted with larger groups of trees, bushes, and shrubs in the peripheral areas. Beech hedges in the western part. Located by the Örtze river.
Access to water
Small bathing bay on the Örtze with two beach chairs.

The place and the sanitary facilities are clean and well-maintained. Thanks to the playgrounds, the natural swimming pond, and the small beaches along the adjacent river, the possibilities to engage the children are nearly limitless. Beautiful campsite for families
There should be signs at the main entrances or along the paths indicating the speed limit. If you weren't nearly hit by a much too speedy car, you had the chance of being bumped by an e-scooter, and that with the large number of small children! Great campsite
It was simply beautiful. 5 days of pure relaxation. Everything was clean, tidy, staff totally friendly and helpful. We will come back next year, but then also with a carriage 😍 Thank you for the wonderful time.

It should become clearer that there are actually 2 spaces with different "extras" and offers, and that a parking lot and the access divide the whole. Lovely stay
We had a great holiday. The service team is very nice. The campsite is in excellent condition and all family members get their share. Especially with children in a beautiful holiday spot. We were there for the second time and would love to come back.
