A nice, well-kept campsite located close to the city center yet calm, situated in a park. The sanitary facilities are top-notch, clean and well-maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A random highlight of our stay was a white dance party in the dance bar right next to the site, and we happened to have white outfits with us.

We hadn't made a reservation, but we were warmly welcomed. The city center is within walking distance, with a lovely pedestrian zone. Cycling paths run directly along the Saar. It's just a city camping site. First of all: we were received very friendly. The manager does her job absolutely well! The whole site exudes the charm of the 80s. The sanitary facilities seem to be from that time as well. But: they are very clean and creatively furnished! There are mainly permanent campers at the site - with the usually "nice" ambiance... and sometimes a tidy person is roaring around his refuge with a leaf blower at noon :-( If you like that... Wi-Fi doesn't work at all - a definite no-go nowadays, especially in a city camping site... You can reach the city center on foot in a short time. Saarlouis itself is okay, but nothing more. One night would have been enough.
