Flight Noise Without Interruption
Combat aircraft thunder almost continuously from the military airfield in the Hunsrueck region. There are numerous citizen initiatives regarding this in the Hunsrueck and Hochwald... Next time I will take my vacation at Frankfurt Airport instead. The passenger planes are significantly quieter.

Interesting Campsite
Interesting layout of the campsite (circular shape). Many play opportunities for children, including an artificial stream. Small shop directly at the site, bakery with groceries in the village (about a 15-minute walk). Then there is Anne's natural store. No supermarket in the village.

Great for families with children
A generously designed campsite. Great for children and ideal also for permanent campers. (We have been here ourselves for 6 years).
