With sunny pitches, some of which are just 50 metres from the Baltic Sea, Kühlungsborn Camping Park scores highly with holidaymakers seeking relaxation. A luxurious ambience prevails in the heated sanitary facilities, some of which are modelled on Greek bathing temples. The sanitary cabins with shower and WC bring a Mediterranean flair to the Baltic Sea coast. Those seeking peace and quiet can spend relaxing hours in the Baltic Sea Spa, the campsite's wellness area. The extensive sports and entertainment programme for campers of all ages is also impressive. Dogs are welcome guests at the campsite and the four-legged friends enjoy the easily accessible dog beach.
Only a few steps separate guests at the Kühlungsborn camping park from the kilometre-long, fine sandy Baltic Sea beach. This makes the campsite an ideal holiday destination for camping by the Baltic Sea in a beautiful and varied holiday region. The Baltic Sea climate is beneficial for young and old and the coast has a high recreational value. There are pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents on the campsite's 12 hectares of grassland, some of which are separated by hedges. The majority of the pitches and plots are available to holidaymakers, with 100 pitches reserved for permanent campers. One of the ADAC Superplatz's impressive features is the heated Poseidon's Realm sanitary building. The interior design with columns and Greek statues creates a Mediterranean ambience. In the children's bathroom, designed like a pirate island, body care becomes a pleasure for the youngsters. A dog shower is available for four-legged guests. The campsite's wellness area, the Baltic Sea Spa, is located on the upper floor of another sanitary block called Aphrodite. Those seeking peace and quiet can spend relaxing hours in the sauna area, with a treatment from the cosmetic programme or a massage. The Ostseebad Kühlungsborn camping park is also an Eldorado for active holidaymakers: the Ostsee Spa has a fitness room with modern equipment. For those who prefer group sports, courses such as dance aerobics, Zumba, power yoga or Pilates are just the thing. The exercise programme takes place both in a large entertainment room and directly on the beach. Marksmanship is required for archery. Children are also well entertained at Kühlungsborn Camping Park. In addition to a lovely playground, the children's entertainment programme at the mini club in both the high and low seasons will delight youngsters. Guided hikes are just as popular as torchlight parades, atmospheric campfires or baking stone bread. Thanks to the informal and relaxed atmosphere at the dog-friendly Ostseebad Kühlungsborn camping park, guests of all ages feel completely at ease.
Located on the edge of the dense Kühlungsborn city forest, seven courses in the climbing forest invite you to test your balance and skill. Thrills are also guaranteed on the 103 metre long cable car through the forest. Nature lovers appreciate the idyllic location directly on the Baltic Sea coast with countless possibilities: Beachgoers take long walks by the sea and the surrounding area invites you to go hiking. The BUK lighthouse on Bastorfer Berg, 3 km from the centre of Kühlungsborn, is an ideal destination for a long walk. If you climb the 55 steps to the viewing platform, you can enjoy a marvellous view as far as the island of Fehmarn in the west. The European Cycle and Hiking Trail E9, which runs right past Kühlungsborn, is ideal for long walks. For example, a 16-kilometre route leads from the beach promenade via Meschendorf along the Salzhaff at Wustrower Hals to the village of Rerik with its 170-metre-long pier. The return journey is by public bus. With the Hanseatic city of Rostock and places such as Heiligendamm, Bad Doberan or Warnemünde, there are several interesting destinations in the surrounding area with interesting sights for plenty of variety on your Baltic Sea holiday.
