Campingpark Kronenburger See

This campsite is a campsite of the Eco-Camping Association. We visited several of these in 2022, and we must honestly say, this campsite is by far the best campsite we have had the pleasure of getting to know from this association. In addition to a bistro serving fries and schnitzel, the campsite has a kiosk that offers beer, wine, hygiene products, and sweets. The roll delivery service and clean sanitary facilities complete the good impression. Children can entertain themselves here at the campsite's own playground or at the recreation center, which is a 10-minute walk away. Unfortunately, the lake is currently (2023) prohibited for boats and swimmers. All in all, a beautiful little oasis in the Eifel and near the Belgian border.

The sanitary facilities are excellent, with the issued chip allowing for 8 minutes of showering at decent water pressure, perfect; everything is clean! The pitches have water, waste water, and electricity, and are in top condition, well-maintained. The staff is very friendly and competent in all matters. One has a wide beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Long-term campers and "short-term campers" are clearly separated. The campsite is excellently organized! Nearby (about 800 m) there is a highly recommendable restaurant with Asian and German cuisine - delicious. As the reader suspects, we are truly thrilled and will of course return in 2023!

Unfortunately, everything is very disorganized and overall somewhat messy. Garbage heaps on weekends, Corona measures are only partially implemented, nightly drinking parties.

Nice and manageable campsite. The operators are very friendly and dog-friendly. The sanitary facilities are clean and in good condition. The campsite is at the end of the road, making it very quiet. Only the traffic from the country road on the other side of the lake can be heard a bit. A few hundred meters from the campsite is the beach.

Very nice, well-kept, and family-friendly place. We would gladly come back. Sanitary facilities are clean and well-maintained. Surroundings are great.

As a permanent camper, water is only limited - from October to March mostly WATER TURNED OFF and Wi-Fi is not always available. Facility itself consistent. Helpfulness good.

Beautiful campsite located by the lake. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities were very clean and comfortable. Dogs are very welcome on the site and occasionally receive treats when picking up the rolls. There are also plenty of opportunities for walking with the dog. All in all, a nice quiet place.

Very well-kept site with clean facilities, for little money you can book your own bathroom. Unfortunately, there were no shopping options on the site itself, so you had to drive 5 km to the nearest supermarket. Otherwise very nice and quiet, with large pitches. Dog friendly as well.
