The campsite scores with its great location right on the lake and the generously sized pitches. The clean sanitary facilities, the well-equipped communal kitchen, and the uncomplicated online check-in are really well received. Children enjoy great playgrounds and plenty of activities.

The reviews on Google and Pincamp were good, which is why we chose this site. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. Upon arriving at our spot, there was a huge tree whose branches were resting on our roof after parking. Watching TV was impossible, since we were completely surrounded by the tree. As this wasn't a major concern for us, we accepted it for the time being. The sauna is small and has an unpleasant smell. The lake is nice; like in most places, it's green. However, it's large and the playgrounds are nice. What was really unacceptable were the sanitary facilities. The toilets always smelled bad because there are no windows to open. The showers were dirty in the morning and evening, and the drain was clogged. After five minutes, the hot water ran out. The internet and Wi-Fi reception were also poor. The power outlet was far from the camping spot. Water was available at the washhouse. At least it was quiet. Overall, not worth the money!

We have now visited Campingpark Kalletal for the 4th time. It is always a relaxing experience here! The Stemmersee invites you to swim, and there are plenty of opportunities for long walks with your dog, which are very soothing! Both shower and toilet houses are easily accessible on foot, depending on your location.

- The terrace in front of the chalet is very slippery when it rains. I slipped and fell despite wearing shoes with a good grip. I reported it, but nothing was done. - Many female staff members are unfriendly, even when addressed politely. They seem irritated when a problem is reported (the barcode in the shop is not readable, etc.). Those who cannot smile or respond kindly should not work in the service industry. We felt like a nuisance. There was little consideration in communication with children. - Overall, there was a lack of 'care' everywhere: for over a week, the dog waste bins on the beach were always full, and many small items were broken or worked poorly.
