The campsite is located near Lake Gartow, with the Wendlandtherme right next to it. The area is very spacious; the pitches are generously designed with electricity, water, and gray water directly at the pitch. There is a division into pitch groups with bushes and trees. The washrooms are large but are becoming a bit dated; the cleanliness and friendly cooperation from the cleaning staff create a balance. The employees are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The highlight this November was the free stay (swimming/wellness/sauna) at the Wendlandtherme. This should be maintained during the darker seasons. There is an uncertainty about the path to the therme due to the lack of lighting!

Large area with beautiful pitches where electricity and water are not far away. Perfect for dog lovers as there are back exits for walks. The only drawback was the mosquitoes.

Very friendly reception by the gentleman at the reception as well as the staff members! Nice large pitches in areas separated by bushes, which gives the impression of being in a small campsite. Satellite reception is certainly not possible from all pitches, but there are TV connections at the service points. 3 sanitary buildings, showers for 1 € for 7 minutes. Sanitary buildings were always clean. Roll service with a large selection, but no restaurant directly at the campsite. Small thermal spa next door, here a bistro. Very quiet place, very suitable for dog owners, endless opportunities for dog walking. The highlight of our stay are the many possibilities for cycling tours. Conclusion: We would love to come back!

We often come here to visit the thermal baths and unwind for a few days. The place is simple but offers everything you need. We come with 4 caravans and always have the option to park however we like. The price is okay and the service is top-notch.

Spacious area with generous layout. Campsites in the front area are mostly in the shade, while the rear part of the site is sunnier. Sanitary facilities are older but always clean. Children's playground, open space for ball games right on the site. Wendland-Therme with a diverse range of offerings right next to the campsite. Beautiful lake with swimming area (free of charge), separated for people, dogs, and horses about 600 meters away. Nice, small town with a snack bar, restaurant, and ice cream café. Wooded surroundings, great for walks, hikes, and bike tours. Located in the middle of the Elbtalaue biosphere reserve. Two grocery stores about 1km away. Here you can spend days doing NOTHING or explore nature, delve into history (former border zone), be active or... We have been here twice in different seasons... and will come back again.

Large pitches, electricity, water, and sewage directly at the site. Nice little niches separated by old trees. Overall a lot of old trees around and on the site. Sanitary facilities top, staff super friendly.

Many large meadows with plenty of shady spots. Surrounded by forest, you will be awakened by a magnificent concert of birds. The spa right next door is a big plus. The bathing beach of Lake Gartow is a 10-minute walk. Penny and Edeka can be reached in 15 minutes on foot. Delicious rolls available on site. The water playground next to the campsite is great. The playground at the campsite is neglected and not recommended. Sanitary facilities are very, very clean.

Self-catering guests can use the kiosk on the campsite for their daily shopping. The Bistro zur Therme right next door also offers snacks as well as regional and international dishes. If you want to combine a holiday in the fresh air with a wellness break, the Gartow camping park is just the place for you.
