Neglected campsite. Sanitary facilities unclean, no toilet paper, hair clumps, etc. Wildly placed, crooked lawns, little service for the money.

First of all: As grandparents with two little children (5+7), we spent about a week at the campsite. There are several activities for the children, playgrounds, gravel or sandy beach, child-friendly bathing area, etc. But us adults have to suffer. It starts with the free choice of spots for the camper. How are we supposed to make our fellow humans understand that a normal spot size is sufficient? So the trouble with the neighbors starts right away. Sanitary facilities are about 200 meters away. I did not see any cleaning staff during our week there. The facilities are in no acceptable condition. No fresh water. Or only a drainage nearby. That means carrying things around. The midday rest is announced. But when half of the campers drive to the toilet or to wash dishes because it is so far, of course no one adheres to it. Oh, and don't forget the wedges.

We actually had a nice spot right by the lake. So far so good, but this wild ‘just pitch where you want’ strategy is disgusting.... We were in a place where you wouldn’t want to put a caravan. The pitch was very uneven; if I had known this, I would have brought half a hardware store to set up level. Where it was flat, some young people had spread out with a tent and 5 cars (Everyone slept in the tent, the cars were just there to be there). Even though there is a special tent area where no caravans or mobile homes are allowed, there easily could have been 3-4 caravans with awnings on that field. The field was completely churned up, with deep ruts and holes. When I brought it up at the reception, I was told I was just unlucky. No attempt was made to fill it with sand either. The washroom available to us, from the 60s, is an outrage.

A very beautifully located campsite, very friendly staff, well-kept facility, very clean, modern sanitary facilities, and all in all just top-notch. This is what makes vacation fun. We have been here with a group 2 times already and we are really looking forward to October 2023.

We camped at Lake Gederner for 3 days and were really happy with our location. A large meadow with paved sections for motorhomes/caravans and no closely parcelled pitches make it truly perfect and spacious. You have to walk a bit to the toilets, but they were clean at all times. Besides the sanitary facilities for campers, there are also several public toilets distributed throughout the site. We visited the restaurant and the food (Indian and Italian) was really very tasty. The only thing that could be improved is the signage for water points and the directions to toilets and waste disposal. Definitely a beautiful and quiet place, and we had a wonderful time recovering.

He is too big. Mass processing. Holiday feelings do not arise. The swimming lake and the new sanitary facilities above are very nice. No wastewater disposal on the site. A shop is non-existent. Gastronomy is only moderate. Those who need water for the camper first have to walk very far. We have experienced this much better before. Our place is very quiet. There is still considerable room for improvement.

Incredibly beautiful here!!!!!! 5 stars are not enough!!!! This campsite Gederner See is a dream. I have never seen such a beautiful campsite. I am parked with my motorhome right by the wonderfully beautiful lake (view of the lake). The wonderful lake also has a large white sandy beach, clear water...the gardens (beautiful....kudos to the gardeners), the incredibly beautiful nature, the forest here, the birds.....are simply wonderful. The location - cleanliness is perfect!!!!! Here I can relax perfectly and have everything I wish for a vacation. The staff and the friendly manager are very nice...oh, I can't stop raving. This campsite is the MOST BEAUTIFUL. A tip, bring a very long power cable. I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart, and I will certainly enjoy my days here and will definitely come back. A heartfelt thank you to the whole great team of campsite Gederner See. Thank youuuuuuu

great bathing beach with water play equipment (water trampoline, climbing islands) for both small (non-swimmers) and large children. Other activities (outdoor trampoline, playground, mini-golf) right on site. 2 dining options (small kiosk and restaurant including delicious Indian food) on site. Additionally, raccoons sometimes come to visit at night.
