Unfortunately, we had to cancel the vacation and requested that the credit be applied to a reservation in spring 2026. An informal reply email according to the terms and conditions will withhold the deposit! No response 'What a pity or hopefully we can welcome you as guests at another time...' Due to this response, we will never visit this place! We have been campers for over 20 years, and we have never received such a 'brazen response' from a campsite in Germany!

Good and friendly reception. We parked in the space and had enough room, the sanitary building with restrooms, showers, and sinks was clean during our stay.

Familiarly run place with very nice, helpful owners. Price/performance is okay. Great location. Sanitary facilities are top-notch. Roll delivery service. Paradise for children, various vehicles, playground. Café with coffee/cake and various snacks. The homemade potato salad is a poem. Beach area with kiosk/snack just across the street. We will be back.

We have been coming to this place for years, simply wonderful also for families with children. The Schäfermeier family is just great, they always take care of you. The review in the past "too expensive" is just wrong. The prices are extremely fair, no flat fee, so everyone only pays for their consumption which is not expensive. The spot for campers is great, the waste disposal station for the toilet is exemplary. Children have a fleet of vehicles to their heart's content, free of charge. The lake for swimming is simply awesome, the beach bar by the lake is quite good. We will keep coming back.

Close to nature, even when it comes to mosquitoes, but there's something you can do about that. Complete quiet during the day and night. Good connection to a network of cycling paths.

The stated price does not apply to the campsite. We held a group meeting there and had to pay 30 euros per vehicle (each occupied by one person) per night, even though we shared a spot. So that's 60 euros per spot per night, plus 3.50 euros per dog per night, plus showers (charged by the minute), plus electricity.

The site is beautifully laid out, and there is enough action for the kids with the go-karts and the playground. We were there with a dog. The site was very dog-friendly, but dogs were not allowed at Alberssee by the beach. That was unfortunately very disappointing when the kids want to go to the beach, but you don't want to leave the dog alone in the caravan. So, one had to plan activities separately. Since there was hardly any internet reception across the entire site and Wi-Fi was also not available, it was actually the right time for some slowing down. However, part of the family did not find it so great without a mobile phone and without TV ;-) I also found it unfortunate that everything had to be paid extra at the end, electricity and water. On the chip cards, a starting credit of €5 was loaded upon arrival, and water only flows in the shower when the card is in the device. Water saving was pre-programmed. It's very nice in terms of environmental protection, but warming up properly under the shower is not really possible in cold weather. Or simply getting the kids clean after a day at the beach.

Beautiful dogs and child-friendly campsite directly next to a swimming lake and several fishing lakes. Free pedal carts are available for the children, as well as a small playground. What we particularly liked were the spacious pitches and access roads. The washroom was always clean and generally appeared well-maintained.
