We were there for the first time, and it is already there. The promised dog beach was located somewhere in the reeds, unfortunately unusable due to a lack of water. The sanitary facilities were too small due to the fact that the site was completely overcrowded and therefore dirty, so that one cleaning a day was not enough. We really liked this place by the beautiful Malchiner Lake, a bit away from the big tourist hustle and bustle. Well-kept facility, very quiet and relaxed, nice access to the lake. The site manager was very friendly and helpful. The only downside is the lack of a grey water disposal option for campers. We will definitely go back.

Actually, we wanted to camp for a weekend at the Baltic Sea, but it was too crowded during the main holiday season, so we decided to go for the Mecklenburg Lake District instead.
