Beautiful location but unfortunately a super unfriendly operator couple The camping site has a beautiful location in itself, that small village is very nice, despite the lack of a supermarket. There was no greeting and I felt quite unwanted, when I wanted to pay with the card, the operator looked at me completely irritated. About 5 minutes after I paid, the lady drove by with her golf cart and looked at me critically, I had the feeling she wanted to check if I was really alone. The showers are quite old and it really took a lot of effort to go in there because they were full of hair and dirt. On the last night of my stay there it was raining and I wanted to dry my things, so I laid my belongings over a table in front of the closed reception that was covered. When I came back from a walk, she just snapped at me about what I was planning. When I tried to explain to her that I was trying to dry my things, but she would like to remove them if she had a problem with them, she just said that I had to leave the camping site. At that moment it was raining and it was about 9:10 PM, so I didn't know where to go with my bike. When I made a short phone call to clarify what I should do now, she then hurried her husband towards me, who asked me to hang up immediately and pack my things. As I packed my belongings, since the operators wouldn't let me talk to them either, I felt the whole time like I was being watched from the top of the house by the operator. I have never experienced such shamelessness and unfriendly service, absolutely no recommendation to stay there. Next time I would rather drive 10 km to Delfzijl.

The campsite has a nice location, the small village is very beautiful, despite the lack of a supermarket. There was no welcome, and I felt quite unwelcome; when I wanted to pay by card, the operator looked at me completely annoyed. About 5 minutes after I had paid, the lady drove by in her golf cart and eyed me critically; I felt like she wanted to check if I was really alone. The showers are quite outdated, and it took a lot of courage to go in because they were full of hair and dirt. On the last evening of my stay there, it rained, and I wanted to dry my things, so I laid my items over a table in front of the closed reception that was roofed. When I returned from a walk, she just yelled at me what I was planning to do. When I tried to explain to her that I was trying to dry my things, but she could take them away if it bothered her, she just told me to leave the campsite. At that time, it was raining, and it was about 9 PM, so I didn't know where else to go with my bike. When I briefly talked on the phone to clarify what I should do now, she then sent her husband after me, who demanded that I hang up immediately and pack my things. While I was packing my things, since the operators wouldn't listen to reason, I felt like the operator was watching me from the house the whole time. I have never experienced such rudeness and unfriendly service; I absolutely do not recommend staying there. Next time I would rather drive 10 km to Delzijl.

Nice large RV parking spaces. The sanitary facilities are clean but a bit aging. At the dishwashing area, there is only cold water. Showers cost 1 Euro for about 5 minutes. When the area is full, it can get crowded at the sanitary facilities, and toilet paper can also run out quickly.

We were at the very large site during Pentecost 2022. We liked it very much. The sanitary facilities are not new but are cleaned at least twice a day. The owner checked the cleanliness several times a day. All the staff were very nice and attentive. At the reception, there was everything for sale that you might have forgotten. We would love to come back.
