Beautiful location in the vineyards, one can quickly reach Saint Emilion by bike, although unfortunately it's overrun with tourists. The campsite was occupied by English and Irish people during our stay due to the Rugby World Cup in Bordeaux. The absolute annoyance was the shower stalls that were still dark and unlit at 7:30 in the morning. Since we use our own toilet, I don't know if the WCs were also dark.

Beautifully located, quiet, and clean campsite. Close to St. Emilion. The restaurant or rather pizzeria is absolutely recommended. WLAN is practically unusable. Biking tour through the vineyards is highly recommended. Chateau de Montaigne with its philosopher is reachable by E-bike in 1 hour, stunning.

The pitches are nice and tidy. One can book pitches with their own toilet/shower. Good restaurant, many activities available for children. Toilets/showers are clean. Nice place, here you can relax, fish, cycle, do wine tasting, it never gets boring.

The place Saint Emilion is reachable in 15 minutes by bike. Beautiful route past the Châteaux. Perfectly located for wine lovers. Children’s programs are also offered. The space is not too large. Very pleasant, as there is something offered for adults as well as children and smaller ones. Sanitary facilities are new and clean. Mini-market. Restaurant. Suitable for several nights. Clear recommendation!

The small, beautiful site located by a lake belonging to the campsite offers spacious pitches, very clean sanitary facilities, and a center that is still undergoing modernization. A partially covered, beautiful swimming pool is also available at this picturesque site located in the vineyards near Saint-Emilion. When approaching, be sure to follow the small green signs to the campsite; otherwise, you might get stuck in the alleys of Saint-Emilion. The campsite is about 3 km from there, which can be managed by bike or by the shuttle that runs twice daily. Visiting the surrounding wineries is definitely worthwhile. The staff at the campsite is very friendly and helpful.

Saint Emilion - among wine connoisseurs, all taste buds awaken immediately. Nestled in the most beautiful nature, Saint Emilion rises on a hill, undamaged over the centuries, and offers visitors some of the best wines in France alongside culinary delights in numerous restaurants. I did not notice any tourist traps; we only found good to very good establishments. The camping site 'Yelloh! Village Saint Emilion' was known until recently (I think about 3 years ago) as 'Domaine de la Barbanne' and is still signposted as such in the vicinity of Saint Emilion. It is only right before the last exit to the site that it is marked with 'Yelloh! Village'. The approach from the south is extremely difficult and is not recommended by me. St. Emilion is unsuitable for being crossed with a caravan (no matter how small) or with a motorhome (except camping buses). Therefore, I recommend approaching from the north via Montagne. On the road between Montagne and St. Emilion, pay attention to parking lots on the left that are marked with 2m poles. Shortly after that, you turn left towards the camping, and here is the first sign with the correct camping designation 'Yelloh! Village Saint Emilion'. Now you are a minute away from the camping. You can expect a very professional team, extremely friendly, and you will be informed about all the details of the site. I have experienced significantly worse in many other Yelloh! Villages. The pitches are mostly very large. Opposite the lake, there are comfort pitches with fresh and waste water. All pitches have electricity. The camping can generally be described as quite shady. The comfort pitch by the lake with the number 70 is suitable for vampires - the sun only appears here for about 2 hours before sunset and only for about 30 minutes at a time. Otherwise, you have shade all day on this pitch (to say it is not dark would be an understatement). All the other pitches that I looked at are fine. The sanitary facilities are up to current technical standards, can be described as quite clean, and already at 7 a.m., you are greeted by the cleaning team with a friendly 'Bonjour'. Friendliness and cleanliness are, in any case, the two outstanding points at this site. The recreational offerings at the site are unusually high: lake with free fishing opportunities, heated pool, animation all day and into the night but NEVER intrusive, restaurant (okay), shop with fresh bread, mini-golf, boules, hiking, cycling, bicycle rental, nearby golf course, free bus transfer to St. Emilion (note: the bus could run much more frequently...), close to golf course, St. Emilion as an absolute culinary highlight in terms of wine and food. Conclusion: One of the most pleasant camping sites and areas during my four-week vacation tour this year and unusually good for Yelloh-Village. A big compliment to the team 'Yelloh Village Saint Emilion'! Also worth mentioning: The restaurant is okay, though not particularly good. The service is eager but not trained, and there is a lack of background support. However, the following point is clearly negative: The small camping shop, the wine shop, and the self-service terrace have only one central service point (cash register) that also represents the passage to the food area and at which the waiters also take their orders, and is therefore an absolute bottleneck. Here, grocery purchases are paid, baguettes are picked up (handed out by the same person), restaurant visitors pay at the same cash register, and someone from the self-service area picks up three lovingly prepared cappuccinos - as I experienced, you wait a good 30 minutes. There is an urgent need for action on the part of the otherwise well-functioning management.

Ideal place to visit the picturesque St. Emillion. Be sure to use the streets as indicated to reach the square, otherwise you may end up in narrow streets that cannot be passed with carriages. One should avoid the spots by the pond, the ducks make quite a mess and noise. Otherwise, it is always beautiful again.
