We were here for 4 days and were welcomed by a very friendly owner couple. The two really make an effort to please the guests as much as possible. The upper part of the campsite is for permanent campers (a mix of caravans, colony houses, and summer houses). We had a spot in the lower part right by the Wied. Super cozy and in September we were alone in that part. The sanitation building is new and very clean. The small town of Waldbreitbach with a supermarket and bakery is only about 300 meters away. Good hiking opportunities. One small problem: The road to and from Waldbreitbach runs along the other riverbank. Especially in the mornings and on weekends, it can get quite loud (trucks and motorcycles).
