Camping Weimar-Tiefurt

There are toilets in a dilapidated construction trailer and in building 2, two cells next to each other for each m/f without an acoustically effective partition. But the best part are the two shower cabins, each lacking doors, so you must already be an advocate of the nudist movement to find it nice to show yourself naked in front of strangers (m or f). Completely unacceptable. Only the proximity to Weimar and the lack of alternatives motivate one to book there. Moreover, it's quite expensive.

Price performance is in extreme imbalance. However, the worst part is the commanding and very unfriendly, rather shameless demeanor of the manager, along with the outdated sanitary facilities and the fact that there is only one dishwashing option for the entire campground, as well as only 1 shower (a double shower), where then, for the relatively high price for this very simply equipped campsite, the shower still costs extra. The electricity supply is also a disaster, no Schuko plugs, when several people use the coffee machine or toaster in the morning, there isn’t enough power to heat rolls in a small baking device. But a high flat rate for electricity is charged. There are also no rolls available. The bakery nearby is closed on Sundays and Mondays, and there is no grocery store in this district.

Well-maintained, clean site in a very idyllic location, but for the owner of the site, friendly communication is a foreign word. I have been camping for over 45 years, but I have never encountered such a blockwarden mentality. Below all criticism......

Here you really have pure nature, your peace, relaxation and rest! The sanitary facilities (1x converted construction trailer and 2x fixed WCs in the house) are very clean, have hot water, soap and towel dispensers, 2x showers with enough space and storage -5min-1€. Very clean, adequate and standard. The operators are very child- and pet-friendly, friendly and helpful. The area is very well-kept with attention to detail. There is a proper sandbox and a nice pond with fish. Perfect for families, everything nice and quiet and left in its natural state. Well-kept, clean, appealing. Would love to come again!
