Campingplatz Weihersee

The young lady at the reception couldn’t manage to crack a smile, very unfortunate. Sparkling mineral water 1.5 liters €3.50 is scandalous. The disposal of the toilet is simply outrageous and disgusting. The small pond with the fountains and the island is an adventure for children. The spacious sanitary facilities are cleaned wet and are quite dirty in bad weather. Hot water was not always available. We will not go there again.

We were there over Pentecost, it was a great stay! Extensive site with pond, animals, super playground, good sanitary facilities. Very nice operators and visitors, you can really feel at home there! We will definitely come back!

We have been to this site several times, as it is simply great for a family vacation. I do not know any other place (in the vicinity) that has such a wonderful playground. Here, they really thought about what children would enjoy. Bridges over the creek, rafting, slackline over water. Natural swimming pool next door, treetop walk around the corner. Really great. BUT. Quiet hours at 10 PM?? Last year we were there in July and unfortunately with us was a (or several?) football clubs with young people. There was such a noise with loud music until 4 AM that nobody could sleep. (I am not exaggerating!) The groundskeeper did not show up and did nothing to ensure peace. This really annoyed us and actually makes us consider whether or not we will go there again. The most beautiful short vacation is worth nothing if everyone is completely overtired. Another negative point: The nearest town with shopping options is not just around the corner. We were also there once on a holiday and could not order any rolls.

We come here regularly to enjoy the idyllic place. The owner is very nice, rolls are brought to the place. Sanitary facilities and wash areas are clean. Overall, it is a well-maintained site. In the surrounding area, there is plenty to do as a family.

Family vacation in the midst of the beautiful Steigerwald. Natural swimming pool around the corner. Canopy walkway also accessible with younger children.

Good - our short vacation there was unique - only 30 minutes drive home *sfg* The place is very well located in the Steigerwald - the organic outdoor pool is right next door. All sights and enjoyment opportunities in direct vicinity! We will repeat this, and we are also happy to return from nearby Bamberg!

Beautiful clean terrace area on different levels. Nice playground for little visitors in nature. Great hiking opportunities, the town of Ebrach is easily reachable on foot. (worth seeing) For those seeking peace, hikers, cyclists, or also with small children top ???? Directly next to the campsite is a natural swimming pool.
