Rip-off with electricity
Reception was no longer staffed at 7:00 PM during the high season! The swimming pool is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The showers are somewhat acceptable.

The site has aged and is very uneven! The sanitary facilities are very outdated and clean is a different story! Cooking and washing up are not possible!

Not recommended
The place has definitely aged. Without wheel chocks, there is absolutely no chance of standing somewhat straight. You can't say anything good about the sanitary facilities. Not recommended
The site is completely uneven, power supply is not available at every spot or is broken, sanitary facilities are not recommended because they are not clean and old, when someone showers and someone uses the toilet, the hot water runs out.
Exceptional

We have been coming to Dünnwald for 19 years and spend a magical and relaxing holiday there every year. We wish our friend and yearly camper Josef a speedy recovery and then we will do something next year. Please get back on your feet quickly, Josef Best wishes, Horst and Rosvita

Overpriced
For 2 overnight stays including electricity and free entry to the forest pool €90 for 3 people and a caravan. Sanitary = utilitarian Location = quiet, outdoor pool great Price = too high

Simple site, already aged
Simple site with outdated sanitary facilities. The area is very natural. For a stopover it's okay, but at €30 per night for a motorhome with 2 adults, it's too expensive. Good connections to Cologne by public transport.

Nice caretaker, next door a small wildlife park without admission, where you can let a few euros for food for the children. Next door there is a restaurant and an outdoor swimming pool. It was very quiet at night. The sanitary and kitchen facilities are purposefully equipped.
