Camping Village Santa Fortunata

The campsite itself is recommendable, but dear ADAC inspector, the absolutely critical traffic situation regarding the massive number of scooter and motorbike riders should be included in the directions. These motorcyclists take advantage of every space, even between caravans and towing vehicles. The site is not advisable for access with a 12m combination / 2.30 wide. On departure, a motorcyclist punched a hole in the front of our vehicle with his handlebar and fled the scene. The entire traffic situation from the highway to the campsite is simply insane! The roads are consistently overloaded and too narrow for campers and buses.

Pros

We were unable to extend our booking from 2 days to 4 days, so we had to move to another campsite. There, we were warmly welcomed. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Some pitches were quite nice.

Cons

The time spent on detailed responses to reviews should be invested in service. Additionally, at the requested date (yes, it was 2 days earlier than planned), there were definitely pitches available! We were on-site and checked the place!!! Pitch/Rental accommodation: The restaurant seems upscale, lively with foreign guests.

Pros

The view from the pitch was wonderful. The site itself is quite cramped, with no gravel base and no TV reception possible. The faucet can only be connected with a hose. Moreover, with normal water usage, large amounts of water are lost due to splashing, which is very unfortunate and unnecessary. The shower and washing facilities are very outdated and need urgent renovation. The shuttle bus was not usable with a small dog in a bag. Pitch/Rental Accommodation: Great view. Condition of the pitch: simple.

Cons

Urgent renewal of the sanitary facilities is needed. Disposal of chemical toilets is not possible in the sanitary facility above. Pitch/Rental Accommodation: gutters everywhere.

The site is not dog-friendly; dogs are not even allowed on the beach during the low season or on the shuttle bus. At the restaurant, I had my most expensive and worst pizza to date, and it didn't even have sauce on it.

Pros

The pitch has a view of the Gulf of Naples. Very good market with most everyday items. Pitch / Rental accommodation: Very nice large pitch with a view of the sea.

Cons

The sanitary area is no longer up to modern standards. It needs a complete renovation.

Pros

The location is perfect, situated on steep cliffs, with a shuttle bus that takes you to Sorrento every half hour. It is otherwise not recommended to ride the bike along the road, maybe consider renting a moped, but you will need nerves of steel for that. Site/rental accommodation: nicely terraced, very flat, and the electrical supply is more than adequately sized. Furthermore, it is extremely efficiently laid out to generate as many pitches as possible.

Cons

The sanitary facilities could be renovated and the toilets need to be cleaned more often. Site/rental accommodation: better organization at check-in. It takes a very long time.

Stunning view, great facilities, perfect location to explore Sorrento, Amalfi, and Capri. Pitch/Accommodations: Excellent
