The place is really very nice and we will definitely come back; perfect location by the water, great beach, etc... There are new and old wash houses that are all very clean and cleaned several times a day. Unfortunately, there are always people who leave the toilets in a state that is really very disgusting, but the place can do nothing about it. The old wash house should urgently be renovated.! At least 50% of the staff should work on their friendliness. But those are rather minor issues and complaining at a high level. Negative: In the supermarket and also at the fruit and vegetable store, very high prices, which is really a rip-off... Which is very unfortunate. The prices for jetskis and SUP are exorbitant. All in all, a very good and beautiful place. See you soon 👋👊

Space has become extremely expensive. Except for the upper sanitary building, all others are old and worn. We used to like being here, but there are also other places nearby. Too bad. Think about your prices!

Great location. Some sanitary facilities are not in good condition. Shops are good, restaurants are plentiful, there's something for everyone. In the evenings, very loud entertainment, which bothered us a bit.

Hello community, We have been here for just over a week on a Deluxe pitch in the 2nd row in the middle of the peninsula. I really thought for a long time about what to write here... I'll just start from the beginning: We arrived after a really terrible day at 21:00 here (reception and entrance open until 23:00). The lady at the reception spoke German but was not overly motivated. There is no towing service anymore, the last one was dragged in right in front of my eyes, now he's closing for the night! So we got a pitch number and were escorted with a golf cart. Upon arriving at the pitch, we and the surprised guide found that the pitch was already occupied! A short phone call from the guide to reception, then got a pitch on the other side of the road, same equipment but unfortunately much smaller and noisier because the animations are next to it. Unfortunately, there are no sun loungers and parasol, even though I am supposed to pay for them! Loungers were brought after multiple complaints. I'm still waiting for the parasol! We are situated in between 2 sanitary facilities, one has exactly 1 shower for men and women and the other is a construction container! So we took longer walks and tried the other sanitary facilities of the site, there are definitely some good and relatively new ones here. The beach is really nice and, in my opinion, saves the whole site a bit! Overall, the facility (including the sewage treatment plant!) is a bit outdated and unfortunately everything here is associated with additional costs! There are several restaurants, a kiosk with fresh fish, a baker, one with fruits and vegetables, and a well-stocked supermarket. There are also stands with the usual holiday and beach essentials. Conclusion: If a spot exceeds the €2000 mark for a family, I simply expect more! It was nice to have been here, but it doesn't need to happen again!

We have been to the campsite a few times before, but this time we were very disappointed. The prices have risen enormously. Compared to previous years, at least 50% more. We booked a spot in Zone A, but ended up with a pitch at the end of the campsite. The sanitary building that was nearby was a container. It was dirty and cramped. The ventilation there also didn't work. You had to leave the doors open if you wanted to take a shower. The other sanitary facilities were all outdated and dirty. Cleaning was also not done regularly. You had to walk at least 15 minutes to reach the chemical toilet. Apparently, there was only one. This campsite is absolutely not (anymore) recommendable. It doesn’t deserve five stars.

Super beautiful campsite! Great layout. The beach is insane, the water too. The surroundings are very very beautiful. The staff at the site, especially at the reception, are totally friendly. Various restaurants and beach bars. Simply wonderful! I would go back there!

ein Lieber Camper
July 2022
Hello dear campers, I just received an offer from Simuni. We wanted to pre-book for 2023 as we did in previous years. When I received the offer, I first had to recover from the shock. Compared to 2022, the prices have risen by 60%. In 2022, we paid €1326 for 2 children aged 6 and 10, and 2 adults during the holidays. In 2023, we are supposed to pay €2123 for the same spot. That’s an increase of 22% for the children, 16% for adults, and 92% for the pitch. Reservation of a specific number is 30%. It can't all just be attributed to the euro conversion and investments, as well as energy costs. Or have you received a 60% increase as well? Many greetings and all the best from another suffering camper.

Camping Village Šimuni impresses with a long sandy beach in the immediate vicinity, which is ideal for sunbathing and swimming in the Mediterranean, especially in the summer months. The family-friendly campsite is surrounded by pine forests and holm oaks and promises peace and relaxation. The campsite also offers a wide range of activities for children and sports enthusiasts alike.
Camping Village Šimuni is located on the Croatian island of Pag, which belongs to Zadar County. The nearest larger municipality is Kolan, which is just under a kilometre away and has a population of only 800. The resort is located on the west side of the island in the immediate vicinity of the coast, which holidaymakers can easily reach on foot. Picturesque beaches of the finest white sand await them there, as well as bays with rocky coastal sections. The campsite has a total of 570 parcelled-out pitches measuring between 80 and 120 m². There are also 110 pitches for permanent campers and 331 rental accommodations on a total area of 40 hectares. The pitches have water and electricity connections and, depending on the location, some are right next to the beach. In addition to the camping pitches, holiday guests can also stay in the cosy mobile homes or traditional bungalows. The mobile homes have air conditioning, a fridge and satellite TV and are dog-friendly. The modern and barrier-free sanitary facilities have washing machines, tumble dryers and a baby changing room. Fast and free WiFi is available throughout the site via WiFi hotspots. The campsite is also dog-friendly and is perfect for camping with dogs in Croatia. Gourmets can fortify themselves in the two restaurants, where crayfish and other Dalmatian delicacies and Mediterranean specialities are served. Homemade cakes are prepared in the patisserie, and there are also cafés, a supermarket, a beach bar and a burger bar, so you can easily spend a longer stay here.
Camping Village Šimuni has already been recognised by the Croatian Camping Association. The wide range of leisure activities also contributes to this. In the children's entertainment centre, 19 entertainers ensure that the youngsters never get bored. There are also water slides, water trampolines and a seawater park on the golden beach so that parents can keep their children busy at all times. Those who want to be active can take advantage of the extensive sports programme. Campers can choose between tennis, beach volleyball, sailing, cycling tours and diving courses. The wellness programme is a little more relaxed. On the salt beach, guests can undergo halotherapy, be pampered with a Thai massage and enjoy marvellous views of the Mediterranean. Overall, there is a sociable atmosphere at Camping Village Šimuni, which makes it easy to socialise with other guests. The nights are exceptionally quiet.
The various stretches of coastline are popular destinations for walks, as in addition to the popular sandy beaches you will also find some quiet bays, which in the best case scenario you will even have to yourself. In the small town of Kolan, it is worth visiting the local farmers, who are known for making the traditional sheep's cheese on the island of Pag. The city of Zadar offers cultural and historical highlights. The Church of St Donat, Zadar Cathedral and the Sea Organ are particularly worth seeing. This is an architectural masterpiece that creates different sounds with the help of the waves in the Mediterranean. The Telascica and Vransko Jezero nature parks also offer picturesque landscapes.
