Pros

Friendly staff. Nice swimming pool and a very good restaurant. Opportunity to order bread rolls and pizza to go. Campsite/Accommodation: Plenty of choices for a nice spot. We had a place that had enough shade but also plenty of opportunity to sit in the sun.

Cons

Sanitary facilities are clean but very outdated. Toilets still have a flush tank and the showers are tiled, but the showerheads don't look very fresh. However, they do have good water pressure with plenty of hot water. Campsite/Accommodation: We were unfortunate to have two days of rain, causing rainwater to flow directly over our site. Our son had just set up a tent in the flow of water. So be careful when choosing a spot and consider flowing rainwater.

Pros

A peaceful campsite. You can choose your own pitch. There is a lovely swimming pool. A friendly reception at the front desk. Straightforward, as we weren't sure how long we wanted to stay. Very good shuttle bus, comes on request. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Friendly staff. Nice swimming pool. Good shuttle service.

Cons

As the pitches are spread along a long uphill path, an additional sanitary building would be practical. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Level the pitches, as many are sloping.

Quiet, nice spot in the green - but eyes closed in the restrooms

The campsite is beautifully located for a visit to Florence. The staff is friendly and the pitches are fine with partially great views. The pool is well-suited for a quick refreshment after the city visit or a hike. Unfortunately, there is a swimming cap requirement. The restrooms are unfortunately in a dilapidated condition. Everywhere there is mold and completely broken areas cordoned off with tape. The only positive thing is that there is toilet paper and soap. The restaurant is excellent and offers great regional cuisine. The pizza is perfect! The place is very quiet!

Pros

The campsite is very well located for visiting Florence, Pisa, and the 5 Lands. The campsite is clean, the staff speaks French and is very pleasant. We stayed in a little house, it lacks a microwave but otherwise, for a few days, it's really sufficient, the air conditioning is perfect. Just be careful not to forget your swim caps, they are mandatory at the pool. Otherwise, for a 3-star campsite, it is very good.

Cons

Location/Accommodation: Lack of microwave.

Camping Village Mugello Verde is located around 2 kilometres from the small town of Scarperia e San Piero, which is home to more than 12,000 inhabitants. The municipality, which is particularly famous for the Palazzo dei Vicari and the racetrack at the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello, is located in Tuscany. Florence, the capital of the region, is just 30 kilometres to the south and is also within easy reach. The campsite consists of 100 pitches for holidaymakers. Tips for excursions in the surrounding area

There is a medieval fortress right next to the campsite, which can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. A little further away is the municipality of Scarperia a San Piero, which is a popular excursion destination, especially for travellers interested in culture. However, the excursions to Lago di Bilancino to the west are much more than an insider tip. The lake is ideal for swimming and sunbathing as well as various water sports, with stand-up paddling being particularly popular. Campers who want to go on longer excursions should definitely visit Florence. The capital of Tuscany is known for its numerous architectural masterpieces from the Renaissance.
