Beautiful campsite; the sanitary facilities are somewhat outdated but incredibly clean. There is a steep climb to the sanitary building and restaurant from some of the sites. A free shuttle bus from the campsite to the station is available for visiting Florence or other cities. Just a call, and they come to pick you up from the station. Awesome! Campsite/Paid Accommodation: Sometimes small and sloped (in our case a caravan), but be sure to provide your dimensions.
Campsite/Paid Accommodation: The constant travel of those little carts near your site. I understand that walking isn't easy (steep), but please limit trips and combine them... the service runs from early morning until late at night.

We stayed here for one night during our journey. The pool is open until 8 PM (don’t forget your swim cap) and it is very quiet here. The sanitary facilities are a bit old but very clean. Some pitches could be straighter, but you can always manage. We were very satisfied.

Just passing through, how comforting it is to come across a smiling, helpful team at a campsite where only the sound of the birds wakes us up... and where the service, the dishes, and the prices at the restaurant are top-notch. 👌🏽 Sanitary facilities are immaculate with hot water and toilet paper... 👍🏽 A delightful experience! 🙏🏽 Location/Rental accommodation: Enough space for caravan and car

We stayed a night here. Quiet location close to Florence in Tuscany Hills. Staff very friendly and facilities clean. Has a small shop and Bar on site with nice areas to sit and enjoy . Pitch/rental accommodation: Nice pitch with well kept tarmac road access. Very spacious and enclosed with lovely views of Tuscany Hills.
Pool wasn't open due to time of year - quite typical though for camp sites. Pitch/rental accommodation: Its on a steep hill so check mobility but otherwise great.

Friendly staff. Nice swimming pool and a very good restaurant. Opportunity to order bread rolls and pizza to go. Campsite/Accommodation: Plenty of choices for a nice spot. We had a place that had enough shade but also plenty of opportunity to sit in the sun.
Sanitary facilities are clean but very outdated. Toilets still have a flush tank and the showers are tiled, but the showerheads don't look very fresh. However, they do have good water pressure with plenty of hot water. Campsite/Accommodation: We were unfortunate to have two days of rain, causing rainwater to flow directly over our site. Our son had just set up a tent in the flow of water. So be careful when choosing a spot and consider flowing rainwater.

Camping Village Mugello Verde is located in the middle of the forest and is ideal for a holiday in nature. The site impresses with its highly personalised charm and is therefore perfect for families as well as couples looking for peace and relaxation. Dogs are welcome here, and in the summer months, the pool is perfect for sunbathing and swimming.
Camping Village Mugello Verde is located around 2 kilometres from the small town of Scarperia e San Piero, which is home to more than 12,000 inhabitants. The municipality, which is particularly famous for the Palazzo dei Vicari and the racetrack at the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello, is located in Tuscany. Florence, the capital of the region, is just 30 kilometres to the south and is also within easy reach. The campsite consists of 100 pitches for holidaymakers. The 65 pitches here are between 70 and 80 m² in size. On the total area of 12 hectares, there are also 72 rental accommodations and 7 pitches for permanent campers. The facilities at Camping Village Mugello Verde are of a very high standard and include numerous washing machines and tumble dryers as well as a snack bar and restaurant, providing everything you need for a longer stay. Free Wi-Fi is standard on the site, as is a children's playground. Sporty campers can play tennis and golf here, while the outdoor pool invites you to swim, sunbathe and relax. Overall, there is a relaxed and friendly atmosphere at the campsite. Thanks to this, guests quickly socialise with each other and feel at home from day one.
There is a medieval fortress right next to the campsite, which can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. A little further away is the municipality of Scarperia a San Piero, which is a popular excursion destination, especially for travellers interested in culture. However, the excursions to Lago di Bilancino to the west are much more than an insider tip. The lake is ideal for swimming and sunbathing as well as various water sports, with stand-up paddling being particularly popular. Campers who want to go on longer excursions should definitely visit Florence. The capital of Tuscany is known for its numerous architectural masterpieces from the Renaissance. Landmarks include Florence Cathedral, the Ponte Vecchio, the Palazzo Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery.
