Camping Village Isolino

Is this the Marina de Venezia from Lake Maggiore? End of August: crowded, cramped, loud - you have to like it. We do not. Positive note: we booked for 3 weeks, left after 2 days, and only had to pay for 1 week. Not every campsite does that.

For us, the campsite had the ideal size; everything was easily reachable on foot within the site itself, and the pool, restaurant, bar, and small shopping facilities were more than enough for us. There were plenty of activities for the children to enjoy. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and overall, the facility was well-maintained. From 10/11 PM, there was quiet on the site, which we found very pleasant since we were camping with our tent. The surroundings offer many shopping opportunities (by bike or car), and we appreciated the closeness to Verbania and the ability to explore the lake by boat. In terms of criticism: the restaurant and snack bar were acceptable in taste but had long waiting times; it is advisable to eat outside the campsite. We found this disappointing, as we would have liked to take advantage of the offering otherwise. Overall: We would love to come back!

Overall, it is a nice campsite that is child-friendly, but the beaches smelled of rot, and for dogs, you have to pay but only receive prohibition signs in return. In fact, you can hardly move freely on the site with your dog. The dog beach was unusable as there was smelly mud everywhere, and it was also very small.

A fantastic club facility with excellent service, friendly staff, plenty of entertainment, great offers for both large and small guests, and breathtaking views.

If you want to camp by the lake with entertainment and many activities, you are in the right place. Otherwise, the site is unfortunately a bit remote. The sanitary facilities are fine and clean; as is the beach, the entire site, and the pool. Unfortunately, there is still a swimming cap requirement. This is not annoying, but at least for me, it is disturbing. The shop is not very big, but clearly more expensive than a supermarket. The pitches are sufficiently large. We treated ourselves to a private bathroom. It was rather small, clean upon handover, but it is not cleaned during your stay. For this, you are responsible yourself. We will not pay extra money for this again. The nearby motorway is always audible. I find 5 stars for the site inappropriate, there are too many minor points of criticism of a high standard. Therefore, I consider 4 stars to be more appropriate.

The spot we chose "large plus" was indeed large. We were lucky that there were only trees all around this spot. In others, access was hindered by trees that stood in the middle of the path. The water supply at the site was "underground," meaning it is under a cover embedded in the ground. If I hadn't brought a hose, I actually couldn't have used the connection at all. Furthermore, I find this somewhat questionable from a hygiene perspective. The sanitary facility (No. 4) is relatively new and clean, however, we almost always had only cold or at most lukewarm water for showering and rinsing. This is certainly a problem with small children. The restaurants are okay. In the shop, there are only packaged baked goods. They are fresh, but there is no way to sort them a bit, as there are always at least 2 pieces in a pack.

Sanitary facilities were new and clean. The supermarket has everything you need at fair prices. We will definitely come back!

We were there for the first time, perhaps a bit more critical. Arrival at reception tip, very friendly. In general, all staff members authentically friendly. First downside: water connection in the ground. After opening the flap, ant nests, just disgusting. That was it for us. This should have been addressed beforehand. The large pool is not suitable for adults, only deep to the navel. Unfortunately, no railing for older guests to get into the water. According to the booking, the place has a SAT connection. Unfortunately, it did not work. On inquiry, you need an adapter, available for purchase. With the normal TV connection, it worked. DVBT instead of SAT. It would be very service-oriented to receive such notices upon check-in, just like: Nearest German-speaking doctor/pediatrician. Nearest pharmacy. In the newly opened bathing house since Pentecost, opened, until 11:00 no cleaning staff to be seen.
