If you want to camp by the lake with entertainment and many activities, you are in the right place. Otherwise, the site is unfortunately a bit remote. The sanitary facilities are fine and clean; as is the beach, the entire site, and the pool. Unfortunately, there is still a swimming cap requirement. This is not annoying, but at least for me, it is disturbing. The shop is not very big, but clearly more expensive than a supermarket. The pitches are sufficiently large. We treated ourselves to a private bathroom. It was rather small, clean upon handover, but it is not cleaned during your stay. For this, you are responsible yourself. We will not pay extra money for this again. The nearby motorway is always audible. I find 5 stars for the site inappropriate, there are too many minor points of criticism of a high standard. Therefore, I consider 4 stars to be more appropriate.

The spot we chose "large plus" was indeed large. We were lucky that there were only trees all around this spot. In others, access was hindered by trees that stood in the middle of the path. The water supply at the site was "underground," meaning it is under a cover embedded in the ground. If I hadn't brought a hose, I actually couldn't have used the connection at all. Furthermore, I find this somewhat questionable from a hygiene perspective. The sanitary facility (No. 4) is relatively new and clean, however, we almost always had only cold or at most lukewarm water for showering and rinsing. This is certainly a problem with small children. The restaurants are okay. In the shop, there are only packaged baked goods. They are fresh, but there is no way to sort them a bit, as there are always at least 2 pieces in a pack.

Sanitary facilities were new and clean. The supermarket has everything you need at fair prices. We will definitely come back!

We were there for the first time, perhaps a bit more critical. Arrival at reception tip, very friendly. In general, all staff members authentically friendly. First downside: water connection in the ground. After opening the flap, ant nests, just disgusting. That was it for us. This should have been addressed beforehand. The large pool is not suitable for adults, only deep to the navel. Unfortunately, no railing for older guests to get into the water. According to the booking, the place has a SAT connection. Unfortunately, it did not work. On inquiry, you need an adapter, available for purchase. With the normal TV connection, it worked. DVBT instead of SAT. It would be very service-oriented to receive such notices upon check-in, just like: Nearest German-speaking doctor/pediatrician. Nearest pharmacy. In the newly opened bathing house since Pentecost, opened, until 11:00 no cleaning staff to be seen.

A large, well-organized site. There are plenty of clean sanitary facilities, but there are no water connections near the pitches, meaning you have to walk to the nearest toilet building to get coffee water. The pitches are well-maintained but without greenery. The site is mainly suitable for families with small children - accordingly, the noise level during the day is high. There is relatively little offer for adults. Reservations for lakeside pitches are only possible for stays longer than 7 days, meaning you will be placed in the 2nd or 3rd row. The restaurant is not recommended. Completely overpriced, below average quality, service is practically non-existent. You wait about 1/2 an hour before you are allowed to enter to be assigned a place (!). If you want to order a pizza or food to take away, you wait between 1/2 an hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes. Since there is nothing else nearby, you are vulnerable to being extorted.

The location is of course top-notch, right in the nature reserve and basically really quiet. In the evenings, it was pleasantly quiet early, but in the mornings, the hustle and bustle returned rather early, thanks to the many children. Some noise echoed into the weekend in the form of disco music over the lake to the campsite. Quite late, until three in the morning, but it was bearable. The mosquitoes, however, were a plague. Numerous and extremely thirsty. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities was acceptable despite the many guests. Much obviously depends on the previous user. Overall, a place with a very high recreational value where it doesn’t get boring. The surroundings are a dream and leave no wishes unfulfilled. Price-wise, however, the whole thing for a camping holiday by the lake is a hefty chunk. Nearly 97€ per night for two adults with two children is already expensive despite all the amenities.

Is this supposed to be an ADAC Super site? For instance, if at the old washhouse there are only two hot water taps for all the sinks and no storage for washing, new sanitary buildings that are finished are just standard. Loungers by the lake are old and dirty, then it's better not to put any at all. The pitches are simple but there is no tap, there are hose connections available in the ground. The location is nice and the jetty that leads into the lake is pleasant. Our conclusion is a maximum of 3-4 star site.

Great campsite with always clean sanitary facilities within short reach. Reception very friendly, multilingual, quick, and helpful. Excellent for children, pool with slides, playground, and play park. Not really suitable for dogs. Campsites are not necessarily divided and fully visible. Electricity and water at the site. The small on-site supermarket is well stocked.
