Campsite Overview

Campsite Intro

Far away from the hustle and bustle, Camping Valmalene is located in a unique natural setting: It is located in Pieve Tesino in the picturesque Tesino Valley, which is framed by densely wooded mountains. The pitches are spread across well-tended lawns and are equipped with electricity and water connections. Mighty trees provide shade. Those who like to barbecue will find a sheltered place to do so in the barbecue area. In summer, the hiking trails are ideal for walking and climbing. If you want to discover the 185 kilometres of mountain bike trails around Pieve Tesino, you can hire an e-bike at the campsite. After a day in the great outdoors, holidaymakers can refresh themselves in the campsite pool. In winter, there is a shuttle service to the Funivie Lagorai lifts.

A Quiet Campsite in Nature

Very good8

Peter

May 2022

Without a doubt, the 4-star rating is too high. But - A spot right in nature. A large terraced area. - Very friendly site owners who are always approachable and helpful. - With a bit of Italian, everything is no problem; English is also spoken by the younger generation. - The sanitary facilities are outdated but were clean. - A great restaurant on-site that offers local specialties at reasonable prices in addition to the usual pizza. - A bar/cafe where drinks are available at any time. - A simple swimming pool (was just being filled during our visit). We will definitely be back. Important: The access from Feltre is not suitable for large camping trailers and camping buses. The access to the campsite is quite narrow.

July 2018

We received an immediate response to our inquiry during the peak season, but only in English. Upon arrival, it was already difficult because our limited English skills barely sufficed to handle the formalities. With a German website, I would have expected at least one document summarizing the essentials of the site in German at a 4-star location. Unfortunately, we cannot speak Italian either. Thus, our stay was difficult in terms of internet, shopping, and dining due to a lack of communication options. The impression regarding cleanliness (upon closer inspection), facilities, etc. does not justify a 4-star rating compared to other places, in our view. As for the site itself, there is a lot of space, especially in the open area. The site is mostly families (not a problem for us), staff is friendly, however, everything often requires a lot of waiting time (reception, shopping), as there is simply no one available or they just walk away.
