The Vallicella Glamping Resort is located on the edge of the idyllic village of Scarlino. The campsite is close to the coast and just 43 km from the harbour town of Piombino, the main port for ferries to Elba. The campsite covers an area of over 9.5 hectares and offers a total of 242 parcelled pitches. The pitches are between 20 and 60 square metres in size and all have electricity connections. Lush vegetation provides plenty of shade on the pitches. Pets are also allowed. The well-tended garden area with plenty of sunbathing facilities and a large swimming pool with children's area ensures maximum relaxation. The wide-ranging entertainment programme and the "Spottyland" play paradise are also popular with younger guests. There is also the opportunity to take part in pony riding, archery or the varied sports programme. Guests can buy groceries and freshly baked goods in the small neighbouring supermarket. A visit to the "Acqua Village Follonica" water amusement park, around 11 kilometres away, promises to be a worthwhile family excursion. There are a variety of water slides and swimming pools here, which make for excellent refreshment, especially on hot days. Last but not least, the many beaches on the nearby coast are particularly popular, such as Cala Martina, which is around 10 kilometres away and surrounded by green hills. It is also a good idea to set off on an exploratory tour by bike - Tuscany is famous for its picturesque country estates, charming trattorias and gently rolling vineyards. You can set off directly from the campsite into the picturesque countryside.
