Beautiful terraced pitches covered with gravel. Good market with everything necessary available. Sufficient toilets and showers. Fast check-in. About 15 minutes on foot to the center. Price rather high per night around 49 €.

Sanitary facilities very good. Location quite nice. But: loud, loud, loud. At the back, there was excavation work, in front, road noise from the 'dual carriageway', and then there was a helicopter that apparently transported materials for construction at higher elevations starting at 7 AM and only finished after 2-3 hours. The restaurant was a bit shabby, with an outdated cooling system in which the meat and sausages were kept wrapped in foil. But it has a charcoal grill, which we thought was great. There is a swimming pool about 15 meters long. We did not use it because we did not feel comfortable and wanted to leave the place early. It was nice that we were allowed to borrow an adapter for the power connection. 20 minutes of Wi-Fi are free. But be careful, as soon as the internet is used, the time is counted. There is no pause in counting if you use the internet for just 5 minutes.

Central location, everything is within walking distance, somewhat noisy due to the proximity to the road, attached restaurant and good 👌 Good base for motorcycle holidays

Not the newest campsite but well located for Andorra la Vella. Within walking distance to the city. Standard electricity 3Ah or 6Ah and 10Ah for an additional charge.

Basically, this is a good spot. Showers, toilets, and the small indoor pool are older, but were very clean. Good location. Playground is very old and the swings are full of bird droppings. The reception could have been a bit friendlier, but still, the place is recommended!

More info about Camping Valira

Camping Valira has been family-owned for many decades. The experienced hosts fulfil their guests' every wish during their stay in the small principality of Andorra.

Family-run campsite in a dreamlike mountain world

If you want to spend a holiday in the open air in Andorra, you will find a cosy temporary home at Camping Valira. The campsite enjoys a privileged location in the Pyrenees. To the delight of winter sports enthusiasts, it is also open during the cold season. During this period, guests use the pitches for a skiing holiday. The popular Granvalira ski resort is only half an hour's drive from the campsite, covering 210 kilometres. In summer and winter, guests at Camping Valira can relax in the indoor pool. The heated pool is open all year round. There is also a small whirlpool where water jets gently relieve tension. The family-run campsite also has a heart for children: there is a children's playground for the youngest visitors. This makes it easy to make new friends at the campsite. This is also made possible by the barbecue areas, where you can prepare meals together. The pétanque court is fun: holidaymakers can test their marksmanship at this French game. In summer, guests also like to bring their bikes to the campsite: Andorra is an insider tip for cycling enthusiasts. The challenging mountain passes inspire racing cyclists and mountain bikers. There is a bike hire shop in Andorra la Vella where you can hire traditional bikes and e-bikes.

Perfectly equipped starting point for exploring Andorra

Camping Valira's location is enchanting: it is in the middle of nature and yet in the centre. Holidaymakers can reach the capital of Andorra, Andorra la Vella, on foot within 15 minutes. One of the famous sights is the church of Sant Esteve: the baroque altarpieces are works of art. The Casa de la Vall, which translates as "house of the valley", is also impressive. The stone house from the 16th century stands out with its defence tower. Today it houses the parliament. There are also numerous shopping opportunities in the town. Guests can also buy ingredients for their daily meals in the small supermarket directly on the campsite. Groceries and basic camping equipment are available here. The nearest bus stop is around 50 metres from the campsite. This means holidaymakers can easily reach many destinations by public transport. A taxi can be booked at reception. The dedicated staff also provide codes for the WLAN. The pitches are located on a well-kept meadow. They are separated from each other by low stone walls. There are many trees on the campsite. The area, which is partly laid out in terraces, covers around 2.5 hectares.
