Camping Sandaya Valencia

The campsite is located in a quiet residential area, but this should not obscure the fact that it is noisy at night and there is practically no nighttime peace. The pitches are of ample size and covered with gravel. The staff at the entrance and reception were very friendly and helpful. The pool was quite small for the number of guests. We were not at all pleased with the sanitary facilities. They are aging and appear very unkempt. The shower was often cold. No transfer to the city of Valencia is offered, which is why we rode our bikes to the station. The train connection is good and takes about 30 minutes to Valencia (bicycles are allowed on board).

The campsite is located close to the beach, about 200 meters away. The pitches are filled with coarse gravel, which we liked since there is no dust and very little dirt. The sanitation facilities were not appealing, everything was old and poorly maintained. There is a mini-market with a very limited selection, as well as a small pool area with a water slide. We chose this site because of its proximity to the city of Valencia. Earlier descriptions mentioned the possibility of getting there by public transport, but unfortunately that was not possible, so we had to take an Uber (about 30€). Besides the snack bar on site, there are no other dining or shopping options nearby. The Sandaya brand advertises their campsites with 3/4 stars, but we fail to see where that comes from. Only the reception was the only modern ambiance, the rest seems stuck in the 80s.

Beautiful, well-maintained site with large, partly shaded plots, nice pool with slide, small minimarket, local restaurant with quite good food, very friendly site staff. Beach about 500 m away. Shuttle service on weekdays to the train station to get to Valencia. Washing machine use available for 4,-€.

We stayed for 3 nights at the site. The plots are large and equipped with electricity/water and sewage. The supermarket is quite small and opens at 08:00 AM. The sanitary facilities were clean but are already a bit older. The beach is within walking distance. One should be prepared for self-catering. There are 3 restaurants that are only open on weekends and close very early. For us, the site was ideal for a 2-day city trip to Valencia.

Beautiful campsite with large pitches. Super clean sanitary facilities, heated showers (March 23). Small supermarket, baguettes in the morning. Nice restaurant. 200 meters to the beach. Quiet location. 25 km to Valencia by bike, great bike path. Beautiful beach promenade.

Very clean campsite near the city (reachable by taxi in 20 minutes, 35 euros). The beach is within walking distance. Only downside: The supermarket! It doesn't really offer much. There's nothing in the immediate vicinity either. If you are not mobile, you should arrive with a full fridge. Otherwise, everything is great.
