We had reserved in April for August. For us, the option to cancel was important due to uncertainties in summer planning. We booked and paid a deposit through the four-eyes principle via PiNCAMP and were sure we had a cancellation option. After only about 3 weeks (so long before the arrival), we canceled, but the campsite insisted on keeping the deposit of about one third of the total price. The presentation on the website could no longer be substantiated, and it is possible that it was misleading. Nevertheless, the experiences with the campsite and PiNCAMP in the attempt to clarify were very unpleasant from our point of view. Hence the poor rating.
