Campingplatz Utting am Ammersee

It was everything that makes a great campsite.

Overall, well organized and structured. The sanitary facilities were cleaned well every day. The beach in the camping area slopes gently, making it particularly safe for families with young children (don't forget the water shoes). Unfortunately, the site was overcrowded this weekend in the tent meadow, thus there were also many visitors at the beach and in the area. G.G.

The Utting recreation area is an exceptionally beautiful spot right by Lake Ammersee, featuring a swimming beach, boat dock, dining options, and a very well-run campground with friendly staff. There is also a family-friendly tent area and clean sanitary facilities. I have been coming back here happily for years.

The campsite is very beautiful and clean. The only thing we didn't like was the dog beach. The dog beach was also the place where the boats went into the water. Consequently, there was always a lot of hustle and bustle, and you constantly had to make space.

There is a very pleasant and friendly atmosphere, thanks to the staff and fellow campers. The location by the lake is excellent, and the small shop offers everything a camper needs, even until half past nine with plenty of baked goods. The restaurant by the lake serves tasty and affordable Bavarian cuisine, and it is advisable to make a reservation. We would love to come back!

Unfortunately, there was only one washroom, but it was always clean, and everything was fine. However, the individual plots appear quite unkempt due to the very tall wild weeds. Very good location by the lake.

The location of the campsite by Lake Ammersee, near recreational facilities, is very good. The pitches are adequately sized, however, there is no water supply or drainage at the pitch. Water can be taken from two taps, and gray water must also be disposed of centrally. The only sanitary building on the site is somewhat dated and actually needs modernization. Some pitches are a bit further away and require a walk to reach them. It is suggested that a second sanitary building be constructed at the rear of the site. Next to the campsite, there is a small shop that offers good bread rolls and has friendly staff. The pavilion by Lake Ammersee serves good food and is nicely situated by the lake.
