Camping Unterägeri

The campsite is located in a beautiful area, but that doesn't make up for its shortcomings. We made a reservation and received confirmation. However, on our way there, we received a call informing us that the confirmation was a mistake. No problem, that can happen. As an alternative, we were offered a spot in front of the permanent campers' parking lot, still at a rate of 70 CHF/night. Furthermore, it was made clear to us that there was no other option available. This is not how to treat guests and it represents the worst price/quality ratio we've experienced during our three weeks in Switzerland.

Friendly staff, clean but outdated sanitary facilities, central and beautiful location right by the lake

We were only here for one night on our way through. Old washrooms and showers, everything is well maintained. You can hike, bike from the site and have access to the lake. The village is a 20-minute walk away. Switzerland is unfortunately very expensive, the price/performance ratio is not good.

A beautiful place for swimming, jogging, and hiking! Very friendly and warm staff...

I've noticed that the Chaos Camping Owner always wants everyone to have the awning on the same side. The Chaos Camping Owner doesn't think further that everyone should determine for themselves how to park on the site with the RV. There are no straight pitches, you have to drive a 7.25-meter long RV into a corner where there isn't a proper spot. RVs and caravans are too close together. I wanted to back in, but the camping owner didn't want that. It is also outrageous that those with a 6m RV get a spot to park better and can exit more easily. It is also outrageous that those who only stay 2 days get a spot with an RV length of 7.25m where there are problems getting out. Those who stay longer are in front of those who only stay for two days. RVs do not belong where caravans are. It's just chaos.

Wonderfully located campsite, perfect for sports activities. Great for families with children. The campsite owners and staff are all super nice! We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.

Perfect

The campsite is located directly by the beautiful Aegerisee. The pitches are sufficiently large and partially shaded under beautiful fir trees. There is a restaurant, and a few products and bread can be purchased and ordered there. There is a large playground for children and a bathing area with sanitary facilities by the lake. The sanitary facilities are old and functional but clean. We come here every year for a week and always feel good thanks to the friendly staff.
