Level meadow terrain with several tall trees as well as numerous younger trees and some hedges. Separated from the Moselle by a cycle and hiking path. Adventure outdoor pool adjacent. In the auditory range of roads and motorway.
Note
Between Trier and Koblenz, the river is accompanied by busy roads, sometimes on both banks. Combined with heavy ship traffic, this situation can lead to noise disturbances at campsites located along the river.

Getting used to
No designated pitches. Set up where there is space. Power supply chaotic. Long cables required. Sanitary facilities outdated but okay. Restaurant on site is recommended. Location on the Mosel bicycle path is nice.

Terrible place, the power supply is an adventure, 40 m of cable are a must! You can position yourself however you want, crisscross on the site, the registration was not very friendly or warm. Place directly on the Moselle but ...
The place is very nicely located. We stood there, looking at the Moselle. The restaurant right next door was very cozy and the food was delicious. However, the sanitary facilities were terrible, completely dirty; the campsite owner really needs to take care of that. What a pity ...

Not recommended
Electricity is connected by staff! It takes quite a while. Very loud. When we arrived, the place was actually already crowded. Nevertheless, we were let in and packed tightly together despite Corona!

The convenient location and the great access to the Moselle Cycle Path do not cover up the need for renovation and the not very clean sanitary facilities. The Zum Fährturm camping and motorhome park extends along the leisurely flowing Moselle on a flat meadow area of around 3.3 hectares. The naturally designed site welcomes visitors to the town of Schweich, which is surrounded by lush wine terraces and is within walking distance of supermarkets and restaurants. Right next to the campsite is the town's outdoor pool, which is particularly popular with families with children due to its water slides and sports facilities. The 150 pitches at the campsite are each around 100 square metres in size and have an electricity connection. Some of them are bordered by hedges or shaded by trees. Some of the pitches are located on a separate motorhome park with strong grass mats for vehicles longer than seven metres. These pitches are equipped with all supply and disposal connections. A snack bar, a bread roll service, a cosy bar and a restaurant with maritime flair and a beautiful Moselle terrace cater for the physical well-being of visitors to the Zum Fährturm camping and motorhome park. Campers particularly enjoy cooking their own delicacies in the barbecue areas. If you bring your own boat, you can slip it into the water at the marina's slipway.
