Site
Campsite located directly above the Augst dam on the Rhine River, mostly natural terrain. Separate section for seasonal campers near the riverbank, and camping pitches for tourists on two unmarked meadows further back. Some of the numerous tent pitches are located directly by the water. At the edge of the campsite, there is a public outdoor pool with a large playground and sunbathing area. Swimming (with a bathing pier available) is also possible in the Rhine.

tents can choose a spot right by the Rhine - ducks and swans waddle around the tent, storks clatter just above. Sanitary facilities are adequate, but not top-notch, brand new washing machine & dryer, very nice staff, huge swimming pool on the site.
