Unfortunately, we are saying goodbye to BALTIC Markgrafenheide. The site is increasingly falling into disrepair and prices are rising! For Pentecost 2026 there is no free choice of pitch, it will simply be assigned randomly. Pentecost 2025 was total chaos, as there were daily power outages for hours. The owners were completely overwhelmed!

The site has a good location near the sea and many other activities. The site itself has stood still in time. There are old areas with decommissioned sanitation buildings on the site, which are simply becoming overgrown. It is an unsightly sight. I stayed in the comfort area. The extra costs are not justified at all. The originally booked site of 120 m² was invoiced at only 100 m² and measured on site only 85 m². That's outrageous for the price of 43 € per night. When I inquired, the friendly employee explained to me that I should have mentioned an awning in advance - without words. The booking fee of 18 € is also a disgrace… The content behind it has not been clear to me. The sanitation facilities had a constant smell of feces... The price/performance ratio is not in proportion.

The place is not recommended! Despite a good location near the beach and very high prices (mid-July 70€(!) for 2 persons, caravan in area L) there are no individual washing cabins, no free pool, no well-designed sanitary buildings. Not all pitches have access to the nearby water supply ("Why don't you drive your caravan to the sanitary building?"); the toilet disposal station is outdoors and not very practical. Plenty of wash basins, but outdoors. Our reserved spot was occupied upon arrival; alternative spots were named after hesitation. The reception knows little about the site and seems little interested in the guests upon arrival. The spa area is plentiful, but everything requires admission (e.g., 10€ for the pool per day); no gym. In return, there are endless mosquitoes!!! The site can't do anything about that, but neither can the guest. This site will not see us again!

We spent 3 days there over the Pentecost weekend. Already upon arrival, we were overwhelmed by very loud music from all corners. The paths to the site are mud swamps in the rain. Places/paths underwater. Sanitary facilities were cleaned very often (male staff in the ladies' toilet all day). No architectural separation between men's/women's restrooms. The sanitary facilities are, contrary to the description on the website, outdated and in desperate need of renovation. It smells very unpleasant like sewage both inside and outside the sanitary facilities. Washing area dirty. Repeatedly 3 days without electricity in the C-section, causing our refrigerator and gas heater to not work (up to 12 hours overnight). Reported several faults, no response or help. More than 10 other campers also had power outages, were thrown out of the reception. Unfriendly, aggressive staff at the reception. Never again!

The location of the place is very nice. It is an excellent starting point for bike tours. The beach is very beautiful and clean. One downside is the sanitary facilities. The men's toilet smells really bad, it is just disgusting. There is no flushing for the urinals. The toilet stalls and showers are not clean. The pizza service and the snack bar are very expensive. Example: 2 small bottles of beer 7.80 euros, currywurst with fries 17.90 euros. 😂

The reception is minimal, the lady does just enough for what she is paid. Not very friendly. And on top of that, it closes at 5 PM!!!! After that, you have to fend for yourself; there is no one around to assist in case of problems. The wifi only works near the restaurant; for a campsite of this size that wants to be high-end, it's a bit lacking. The pitches are small, poorly maintained, and it's better not to stay there when it rains, because the grass becomes very scarce. Very impersonal camping, too big. On the plus side, the sanitary facilities were very clean, except that there are missing hooks in the showers; it's better to go with the simplest device. Camping not recommended; FOR 42 EUROS A NIGHT, IT'S VERY EXPENSIVE PAID. We practice about a hundred campsites in Europe each year, but this is the worst one we have stayed at.
