Camping Tripesce

Nice friendly staff, the site is right on the sandy beach, the sanitary facilities are outdated and no longer up to standard. The site is very tight, with a longer vehicle you can quickly run into problems!

We have been going to the campsite once a year for seven years. We love the place because it is directly on the beach, yet many Tuscan towns can be reached within 30-90 minutes. Perfect combination of sea and culture. The sea is shallow for a long way, so perfect for children. For families/kids: Shallow entry into the sea, sandy beach, clean, playground also indoor, mini-golf, volleyball, small bike park, roller park, cars are only allowed in and out of the campsite, so there is little traffic, restaurant and shop on the site. Staff at the reception speak German. Bungalows are very nice. Restaurant is good. Every year there has been something new like a bike facility... Sanitary facilities are clean but old and need to be renewed. A lot has changed in the last few years, rubbish is no longer collected on site, electricity is excluded... So we are looking forward to Pentecost 2024.

We stayed three nights in Tripesce, we originally planned to stay just one night. The sanitary facilities are all very clean. The bistro has everything the heart desires, unfortunately the restaurant is an absolute flop - a shame, nevertheless we gladly give 5 stars as cleanliness and friendliness cannot be exceeded. Not to forget the sweet alimentari.

We wanted to relax for a few days with our nearly 8-meter long Bürstner semi-integrated (height 3 m) and were lucky to find this campsite, which is open in the autumn. The staff was very friendly on the phone (Italian, German, English) and reserved a spot for us, already mentioning that it might be tight. And indeed, it was not just about parking. Almost all the pitches have a thatched roof or reed, which is justified in the high summer, but less so in the autumn, though that's alright. Our parking area, with its own waste water basin, measured 8 x 7 meters, meaning the neighbor to our right was about two extended awning widths away. On our left, the neighbors' seating area was roughly 2 meters away. Just 3 meters in front of us was the next vehicle. If you enjoy being on a pitch close to others, you won’t have a problem here. However, while sitting at our table outside, we could only see other motorhomes. That felt far too cramped for us personally. There is little privacy here. Everything else is great (restaurant, bar, cleanliness, etc.), and I really ask that this be considered purely a personal assessment. The beach is typical, and it takes a long time to get in up to your neck in the water, making it ideal for families. Getting out of our patch was quite a tight maneuver. The intersections are so narrow that I had to stop several times and take the next one, and even then, you really need to know your vehicle well. In conclusion: If you like a flat beach and sitting close to neighbors, this place is for you. We moved on the next day.

We spontaneously drove to the site and got a spot for two nights. The pitches are covered with reeds, and our 5.20 meter caravan just barely fit, the car had to be outside in the parking lot. Direct beach access "with a beach bar nearby." Kiosk / small supermarket with fresh baked goods. Restaurant on site, it was okay.

For 6 years we have been here in September for 3-4 weeks at this family-friendly site. Very beautiful beach, you can take a beach walk to the fish restaurant. By bike to Rossignano, Cecina, etc. to the Italian markets. On the site, there is a nice restaurant and a small grocery store. On the other side of the street, there is a pizzeria, and if that's not enough, there are many nice bars and restaurants in Vada. The sanitary facilities are very clean and are cleaned several times daily. The staff is very helpful.

Sufficiently large pitches, shade provided by mat roofs, right on the beach and clean sanitary facilities. Well-maintained site.

Always very friendly staff. It is cleaned very thoroughly. The new dog shower is really great. The sanitary facilities should finally be renewed.
