Many believe that the Spanish starry sky is at its best at Camping Trevélez, which is open all year round, as it is the highest in the country. It is located at 1,550 metres in Las Alpujarras in the impressive mountain world of the Sierra Nevada. The densely wooded site is equipped with an outdoor pool. Not too sure pool was maintained? During the night there was a annoying squeak from level 1 every 2/3 minutes - liking to an alarm battery needing replacement- I meant to mention it but it was only during the night that I remembered. Both hubby and I had trouble sleeping through it so had to put ear plugs in! Facilities need an update. Pitch/rental accommodation: As above

The camping is very nice located at 1560 meters. From the camping you can visit Trevélez itself and be impressed by all the hams you can see and tast.
