We were here during a miserable heatwave in the summer, and we were totally thrilled. The great shade provided by the many trees and bushes was simply genius. Super service, great offers, and wonderful staff. The bathroom and toilet are a bit dated but very clean. Apparently, there are newer rooms available, but we didn't look for them because the old ones were okay... Recommended...

Free choice of pitch, as suitable spots, e.g. for caravans, are already occupied by tents. There are no signs that would be helpful for the difficult exit with a caravan. The terrain is extremely steep and the curves are very tight! Conclusion: More suitable for small motorhomes or tents.

Very good starting point for visits in Tuscany within a radius of +-50 Km or 1 hour. For sport cyclists a great terrain in the southern direction of Siena, Volterra, beautiful back roads with steep climbs. The site is popular with the Dutch. Road noise depends a lot on the wind direction and the parking spot. Due to the terraced location of the site, free Wi-Fi is only possible near the reception and restaurant. The swimming pool was very popular on hot summer days after excursions. Early departure is possible with the allowed opening of the barrier.
