This campsite is mainly visited by Finns and Norwegians. It is located directly by the lake. The very large pitches are partly in the light birch and pine forest and partly on a meadow. You can certainly see water, even though most of the spots in the front row are occupied by permanent campers. There are rental cabins and a sauna heated from Tuesday to Saturday at the swimming beach, which can be used for €3 per person. Men and women have separate times. You can also rent the sauna privately for €30 per hour. The sanitary facilities are okay. Communication with the staff at the reception in English was variably easy, but always possible. There is also a small café at the reception with homemade cake. The campsite also offers a large playground and a mini-golf course. There are two grilling huts. And: there is a lot of peace and quiet! We were there three days after the Ikkalinen sauna festival, which took place at the campsite with many different portable saunas. Unfortunately, the campsite's large new sauna burned down during the event. When the respective building is renovated, you will certainly be able to use this sauna as well.
