Camping Toblacher See

We were here as a couple for one night. A beautiful place, idyllically situated by the Tablachersee. Very nice and absolutely clean sanitary facilities. But to be honest, does this standard still have anything to do with camping? At the high price of over 50 euros, electricity isn't even included. The electricity cable had to be laid across the site, so that all newcomers had to drive over it and later stumble over it on foot.

Simply a dreamily located spot. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The place is well maintained and the sanitary facilities are kept very clean. For this, I can only give a big compliment. The shop has a large selection of products and even on the weekends, you can shop there. (including fresh rolls)

Great panorama, lovely little hike to the lake, to the waterfall, and to old bunkers possible. A small drawback, the showers turn off between 4 and 10 seconds! Nothing against saving water, but that's excessive.

An absolutely top-notch campsite! Super location, 100% mountain idyll. Great service, sanitation, and everything else without complaints. Always very friendly staff, a campsite just as one could wish for. Dog and child-friendly. We can absolutely recommend this place.

The campsite is very well located, both for hiking and cycling. The shuttle bus runs 3 minutes from the campsite to the Three Peaks or in the other direction. From Toblach train station, you can go towards Sexten or Bruneck, all by bike. The staff is friendly and helps wherever they can. The only downside is that you can only get draft beer in the beer garden when ordering food. That could be better, but otherwise nothing!

Excellent starting point for mountain bike tours. The site is very nicely located with flat large pitches. Very clean sanitary facilities. When reserving by phone, they are evasive and you do not receive a definitive commitment. When I arrived, I immediately got a place and there were still plenty available. Very good restaurant on site. Price-wise: what can I say, you are in Italy.

We had planned to spend 8 nights in September with the baby and dog in our bus at the campsite. Unfortunately, we had a breakdown with the camper 5 days before the trip and could not go through with the booking. Instead, we wanted to spend 13 nights at the Toblacher See campsite in October. But customer service insisted on keeping our entire booking deposit and did not even want to credit any part to the new booking. Our calls and messages with specific questions to clarify the situation were ignored and simply went unanswered. Such a shame... but the campsite certainly has more demand than supply, and therefore individual customer offers are probably not highly valued. There are also other nice campsites in South Tyrol. We weren't even there, but I would no longer recommend or go to that place.

We were among the first camping guests after the long lockdown and enjoyed the very quiet week. Extremely friendly staff, whether at the reception or in the restaurant. The restaurant is really cozy. The food was very good! It was somewhat pricey, but perfectly fine for the very good quality. The pitches are large and designed in a terraced manner. The campsite is extremely clean, and the bathroom house is very new and attractively designed. The view of Lake Toblacher is a dream! We will definitely come back, especially since our giant schnauzer was also welcome!
