Municipal campsite. Meadow area bordered and loosened by trees and bushes at Timmeler Meer. In the center there is a pond. Pitch groups partially arranged in a circular shape. Situated in the center of a recreational area.

A campsite where both humans and animals can feel at home right away.
Consistently friendly staff. Absolutely accommodating and laid-back. Family-friendly, also recommended for people with disabilities. Wonderful area. I would have liked a roll delivery service. There is a bakery very close by, so it's really just a small wish note.

Beautiful place right at a small harbor and a nice bathing bay.
Upon arrival, you were warmly welcomed. The pitches are also very spacious. Electricity, water, and even showers are included. Other places could learn from this. The washrooms are very clean, and the entire facility is well maintained. We will definitely come back.

Very nicely located site, within walking distance to the bathing lake and harbor. Good connections to Leer, Aurich, Emden, or the Netherlands. Site manager is very nice and accommodating. Great Campsite
Very nicely located and laid out campsite. Super nice and always courteous friendly staff. Very clean (because cleaned multiple times a day) sanitary facilities. We will gladly and certainly come back.

Great Place!
Although we were only passing through for one night, we were really impressed with the site. Very nice, helpful, and relaxed staff. Camping Timmeler Meer is located near Großefehn in East Frisia, idyllically surrounded by a natural green area right next to a bathing lake. The campsite is characterised by a wide range of leisure activities and a relaxed atmosphere. The campsite's child- and dog-friendly facilities also make for a comfortable stay with the whole family.
A campsite close to nature with a family-friendly atmosphere
The extensive campsite extends over 7 hectares and has 71 pitches, some of which are parcelled out. The pitches are between 100-120 square metres in size and offer electricity and water connections as well as sanitary facilities, cooking facilities and washrooms. There is also WLAN access throughout the site. In addition to the two playgrounds, table tennis tables and a mini-golf course, there are regular entertainment programmes for children during the summer months. The picturesque bathing lake with a fine sandy beach and its own dog area is also a popular meeting place on the site. With a small boat harbour including boat hire, excursion boat trips or a refreshing dip in the water, there is something for everyone. Delicious snacks and refreshments are available in the campsite shop. The many hiking and cycling trails in the region make an excellent change from the lake. Due to the flat terrain, cycling excursions are a particularly popular activity. One of the most popular routes is the approximately 36-kilometre-long 5-mill tour along traditional windmills and small villages. For campers interested in culture, a visit to the harbour town of Emden is well worthwhile. There, the East Frisian State Museum, the Bunker Museum and the art gallery make for an entertaining stay.
