Camping Tankumsee

Nice campsite, predominantly long-term campers. The tourist pitches are also fine, especially if you have a comfort pitch (water at the pitch and paved). In the rain, the standard pitches tend to flood. The toilets, showers, kitchens, and washing machines have become quite old. Showers last 4 minutes with shower tokens (1 €), but they are very short 4 minutes. The management is okay; they do what they are supposed to do, but nothing more, at the edge of being friendly. Arriving after 6 PM is no longer possible; you can then stay overnight in the parking lot in front. Roll service is great and very dedicated. Surroundings = leisure area Tankumsee, beautiful area for cycling and walking. Dogs are very welcome.

Very nice, helpful, and open operators. We called on short notice and received an affirmative response. Parking space on the tent meadow included, with electricity connection and enough space. Sanitary facilities are adequate and clean. Shower time is 4 minutes with coins (water can be turned off, time stops). The site is well-maintained and well-divided. Large playground. Again and again.

The site was good, lake right next to it. We were there after the summer holidays and the beach pool was not overcrowded. It might be full during the holidays. Dogs are welcome and there's enough greenery around the site. Unfortunately, the long-term campers or a well-known group had their dogs running freely and they tried to attack mine. Despite complaints at the reception, nothing happened and the same thing happened the next day. I heard several complaints from different dog owners about the 2 dogs, but nothing was done. We left after 2 days. Therefore, only 3 stars. Such a shame.

My son and I were there for a week. Dreamily located next to Lake Tankum. Very well-kept site, sanitary facilities were always clean and tidy. The operators were very kind, friendly, and helpful. The Italian restaurant on the site is also highly recommended. The pitches are generous, so even longer vehicles have enough space. The surrounding area invites long walks. Swimming excursions at the lake. Sailing opportunities. Dogs allowed. Open all year round. We will definitely go there again.

Unfortunately, we were only here for one transfer night. Great location by the lake. Very good restaurant. Sanitary very clean. Everything was great. We'll come back.

Unfortunately, there is hardly any satellite reception due to tall trees.

Beautiful location, spacious parking spaces, no shopping opportunities, barely any possibilities for swimming in the lake.
