We had a wonderful pitch right by the forest and were able to walk our dogs in the cool woods. The Mauensee, with its castle on the island, can also be reached on foot in 10 minutes through the forest. There's a bread delivery service in the morning. Christian and his team do an excellent job and are very flexible (we spontaneously extended our stay by a day, which technically wasn't possible). Easy access and well-maintained infrastructure.

The campsite is wonderfully quiet, located on the outskirts of Sursee. Nearby is Lake Mauensee, which can be circled on foot in just under an hour. From the site, you can also undertake many beautiful bike tours or visit the charming little town of Sursee and stroll through the old town. The sanitary facilities are very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a nice playground for children. Always happy to return.
