A campsite with a beautiful location right by Lake Schwerin. The pitches are partly directly by the water and there is a small meadow with access for swimming in the lake.

We visited this campsite for a few days with our tent. The location of the site is undeniably beautiful, but this cannot disguise the prevailing problems. The tent meadow had not been mowed for weeks. The grass grew about 20 cm high. The meadow is so uneven that we had to search for quite a while to find a spot for our tent where we wouldn't roll off the air mattress. Every day we heard the lawnmower on the adjacent sites for mobile homes and caravans and were always hopeful that the meadow would also be mowed. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Here, the operators seem to prioritize profit over comfort. The sanitary facilities are cleaned once a day. Accordingly, they were pretty dirty by the evening. In the showers, tokens are required for 3 minutes of shower time. If the time is not enough, you have to get out of the shower naked to wait a minute before inserting another coin. Electricity is charged on a flat rate basis. With €6 per day for the tent site, it's relatively steep. The restaurant Boje 43 offers delicious food at very high prices. Unfortunately, the staff is very unfriendly. One regularly has the feeling that one has to apologize for entering the restaurant. We cannot recommend this site for camping with a tent. You are treated here like a second-class camper.

We really enjoyed our time here, especially the absence of the barking of the otherwise numerous dogs. Very friendly operators and the idyllic location definitely make us want to come back. The sanitary building is very clean. The showers are a bit small. The on-site restaurant Boje43 is also highly recommended.

Outstanding is the beautiful location right by the lake. Perfect for great cycling tours and visiting Schwerin. Decent sanitary facilities, friendly staff.

First, we noticed the path in the square, there was a pothole after another. The holes were large and deep, not really good for the chassis. The pitch was not mown, and since we also had rainy days, it was not pleasant to walk through 20cm high and wet grass. There is no Wi-Fi available at the pitches. TV reception is only available at a few pitches due to the vegetation. The showers only work with shower tokens (3 minutes). Furthermore, they are very narrow, so you have to place towels and also clothes in front of you, so they don’t get wet. You can order rolls in the restaurant. This operator was very unfriendly and there were only 2 types to choose from. We had the feeling we were bothering him with it. Overall, we cannot recommend this pitch.

Good location, almost all spots directly by the lake, sanitary facilities a bit dated, shower tokens cost 1 Euro (about 3 minutes, no dogs allowed on the site, (wind-)protected tent area, cycling to Schwerin is no problem, good gastronomy.

The location right by the lake, the parcels right after the entrance are tight, great for cycling and walking with Schwerin in the background. The sanitary house is not modern but functional. Satellite reception is not available everywhere, but there is a TV connection at every supply column.
