In my opinion, way too expensive!

On the one hand, I find the prices for this place too high, at 50€ per night! We were on vacation there with our child for 16 nights. Then you have to pay extra for many things that are offered, like showering 3 minutes for one euro, that's just too much!! At such utopian prices, we were there, the first and the last time!!

Great place, unfortunately nothing for cyclists or bikers

The place is clean and tidy. The sanitary facilities are clean and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately, there are not enough benches and tables. Just like for us as cyclists or bikers, who cannot bring a chair and table, this is a shortcoming. Unfortunately, that was not available. The location is very good.

Clean and well-kept, unfortunately a bit neglected. Or in other words: the site does not deliver what the network promises: No children's animation. The club room with foosball, bowling and more is not open daily and if it is, only from 4-6 PM. Rolls are only available on pre-order. The sauna is only turned on for 4 or more people. Wi-Fi is very poor. Showers are limited to 3 minutes with a shower token and tend to be warm rather than hot.

In the holidays, rather not a quiet place

Pitch L has a decent size for a motorhome of 7.5m. Unfortunately, most pitches do not have satellite reception due to the trees, so an antenna cable is a must. The Wi-Fi is also more a matter of luck. Musical entertainment comes either from groups of guests or from the on-site Mungo Bar, and not at room volume. The location to the beach is great, as is the beach itself, and in some places it's not too crowded either. The offering in the shop is okay.

Great place in a quiet forest location

Very good8

September 2023

Quiet place, partly terraced for relaxed days. We were there in the off-season and enjoyed our stay a lot. Our dog was also welcome. The place is suitable as a starting point for lovely walks and bike tours. There is also a train station in the immediate vicinity. The only problem was that the beach at the campsite could only be reached via a staircase, which our dog refused to use. Sanitary facilities were okay, but showers unfortunately required tokens.

More infos about Campingplatz Stubbenfelde

Camping Stubbenfelde on the beautiful island of Usedom is the perfect place for a camping holiday in the midst of unspoilt nature, right behind the coast of the Baltic Sea. The beautiful sandy beach will delight families with children and couples on holiday at the Stubbenfelde campsite. Pet owners can go on long walks through the nearby forest or along the Baltic Sea coast when camping with their dog.

Stubbenfelde campsite: dog-friendly holiday highlight on the Baltic Sea coast

The Stubbenfelde campsite is located roughly in the centre of the 445 km² island of Usedom in northern Germany, close to the Baltic Sea coast. There are 270 pitches in various categories for motorhomes, caravans and tents on the 5-hectare meadow site with its beautiful old trees.

Campers can choose from small tent pitches to 120 m² comfort pitches with TV, electricity, water and waste water connections. The tent pitches are unparcelled and there is a central supply and disposal station for motorhomes. WLAN is available throughout the site.

Top facilities and a family atmosphere

Guests particularly appreciate the friendly staff at the Stubbenfelde campsite, and the three well-kept sanitary buildings are equally well received. In addition to showers and toilets, holidaymakers can also expect children's bathrooms, hairdryers and family bathrooms for hire. There is even a separate dog shower.

Delicious meals can be prepared in the well-equipped kitchen with dining area and dishwasher. Fresh groceries and bread rolls for the morning meal are available in the shop directly on the campsite. Alternatively, there is the Bistro Pommernstube with breakfast, snacks and ice cream or the cosy Restaurant Am Kölpinsee.

There are regular barbecue evenings with smoked fish, sausages and live music in the beach pavilion. The modern club room is also a great meeting place. There is a bowling alley, air hockey and pool tables as well as a dartboard.

Fantastic location and sensational leisure facilities

The 42 km long coastline of Usedom with beaches up to 70 metres wide invites you to swim and relax. There are 2 beach accesses directly at the campsite via a staircase. Surfers appreciate the excellent wind conditions. The picturesque Kölpinsee lake and a magnificent beech forest are also in the immediate vicinity of the Stubbenfelde campsite.

Those who like to be active during their holiday on the Baltic Sea island can use the campsite's own fitness centre or go on extensive cycling tours. Cycling enthusiasts can take the coastal cycle path to Swinoujscie in Poland, 20 kilometres from the Stubbenfelde campsite. Here, the charming beach promenade and a lighthouse with a viewing terrace beckon.

The varied sports and leisure programme will keep the youngest guests happy. On the adventure playground with slides, swings and climbing frame, the little ones quickly make new friends. In the summer months, the children's entertainment programme delights with craft and magic workshops, hands-on theatre and ceramic painting. Children are lovingly looked after here while adults retreat to the sauna in the wellness oasis. In addition to aroma and full-body massages, those in need of rest can also book beauty treatments.
