More Show than Substance

August 2022

We had booked an extended weekend from Thursday to Sunday. The first impression was very nice and the first night was also very quiet. The view from our terrace pitch over the lake was stunning. On Friday, we noticed that although cleaning personnel were often present in the sanitary building, they only cleaned superficially. The shelves in the shower cubicles had apparently not seen a cleaning cloth for quite some time. The partition walls of the showers and toilets were in a similar state. For the size of the site, an additional sanitary building would also be advantageous. In the afternoons and evenings, the site then filled up and it became louder. Next to us, a larger group continued their conversation until 0:30. Additionally, an open fire was ignited, which caused our caravan to be heavily smoked. The campsite operator should be more attentive in this regard and take regulatory action.

Very beautiful place. Especially the terrace spots right by the lake. The lake is also very nice, with a sandy beach. The sanitary facilities are super clean. The staff is very friendly. Wismar and Schwerin are not far away. We were only there for 1 week, but we would love to come back.

Beautifully maintained campsite. Nice staff, sanitary facilities are checked and cleaned several times a day. Naturally kept pitches. I cannot assess how it looks in the rain. Quiet location. The surroundings invite you to go cycling. Slightly hilly and many good old cobblestone passages. I can only recommend the site.

This campsite is exactly what a camper looks for to relax in the midst of nature. Starting from the friendly welcome to a well-maintained campsite with clean sanitation facilities, all the way to an idyllic spot in the heart of nature, everything fits perfectly. The always friendly staff is the icing on the cake. We will gladly come back.
