Clean Campsite
The campsite was very nice, you could see that it was well-maintained! The sanitary facilities were also clean. The campsite is not far from the sea, in the evenings you can take beautiful walks here as well. It would be nice if there had been more activities for football or volleyball...

Slope
A campsite where there is no place to stand without leveling. First, we were assigned a pitch where we would have needed more wedges than we had with us. Despite other available pitches, attempts were repeatedly made to occupy this pitch for later arriving campers. Changing the pitch was no problem.… More

Nice Camping Site
Very friendly reception. We changed our spot during our stay. Everything was no problem. But there is also something to complain about. The sanitary facilities could be cleaned more thoroughly. Since we were here quite at the end of the season, two out of five toilets/ washhouses were simply close… More

Very nice campsite for families
We found our spot very nice. The tree that was on it wasn't in our way. We were able to set up our camper with awning wonderfully. We also had no slope. At every spot, there was an electricity and fresh water connection available. The sanitary facilities were clean and mopped every quarter hour. Ver… More

Great campground except for the slope of the pitches.
There are shopping options here and a restaurant on-site, a pool, a climbing garden, and a mini-golf course. The showers are acceptable, although there could be some modernization here and there. However, what is not acceptable is that most pitches have a huge slope which can be compensated for with… More

No Recommendation!
Unfriendly staff, dirty washrooms (hair everywhere in the showers, hair and cobwebs in the toilets, loose fixtures, calcified showers) 15 minutes walk to the sea, no included sunbeds at the beach. Little beach area, most of it is too concreted.

Conditionally recommendable. Definitely not worth 5 stars
Stayed for almost three weeks at the site. The pitches are somewhat level, but there are many pitches with trees that are hardly usable if you are traveling with a larger caravan and want to use an awning or a tent. Other pitches therefore without shade. Ground is gravel. Sanitary facilities are out… More

An information that the "large" sites have pines everywhere, making it more difficult to set up the caravan in addition to the slope of the sites would be great
We were at this site for 11 days with 2 children (8 and 13). The pool was great, the kids thought it was awesome. You can walk quickly to the sea under the underpass (7-10 minutes). There is a large selection of swimming spots, depending on what you like—sand, gravel, or concrete slab with a ladder … More

In the north of Istria, Camping Stella Maris attracts holidaymakers who want to spend an active holiday on the Croatian Adriatic or visit the campsite as part of a round trip through Croatia. Sports facilities for all ages, entertainment for children, beach areas for both water sports enthusiasts and sun worshippers and the proximity to important sights make a stay at the campsite near the town of Umag an all-round successful experience.
Camping Stella Maris is located around 2.5 km from Umag directly on the coast and offers countless pitches for caravans and mobile homes under shady pine trees. All pitches have connections for electricity, water and satellite TV as well as WLAN reception. The size varies between 80 and 120 square metres. Alternatively, mobile homes for up to four adults and two children are available, which are equipped with two bedrooms, a private bathroom, a living area with sofa bed and kitchen as well as a furnished terrace. Pets are also welcome at the complex for a fee.
If you want to spend your holiday at Camping Stella Maris in a sporty way, you can choose from a wide range of activities. There is a sports field as well as table tennis tables and a beach volleyball court. A mini-golf course is also available to guests for a fee and tennis courts and football pitches can be used in the surrounding area. Cool off in the spacious pool area with pools for adults and children and a paddling area for babies. Families can also look forward to playgrounds and a mini club, where entertainers look after little guests aged between five and twelve - highlights also include a children's disco. Adults can round off the day with a cocktail at the bar or attend events with live music on selected evenings. The restaurant promises culinary delights, while self-catering guests can buy fresh food in the supermarket.
In addition to the large and wide private beach with bathing opportunities and water sports ranging from surfing to pedalo rides and parasailing, the region around Camping Stella Maris offers a variety of excursion destinations inland, to Umag or along the coast. A picturesque path along the coast leads to Umag, whose medieval centre with its romantic alleyways, cafés and restaurants invites you to take a stroll. The town's museum displays archaeological finds from Roman times. Also worth seeing is the Savudrija lighthouse, which watches over the coast at the westernmost point of the Croatian mainland. Day trips to Pula and Rovinj or across the border to Trieste in Italy are also possible. For families, a visit to the nearby Istralandia water park is also worthwhile.
