We visited the Vorort campsite. The comfort pitches are very spacious. What bothered us was the handling of our inquiry about whether a dog fence could be erected. We were told that it was not allowed, and when we asked why a dog fence was not desired, we were told that a dog fence posed a trip hazard for drunk fellow campers and that we would have to take responsibility if we set up such a trip hazard. (We illuminate our fence with solar lamps) Our comment that cables, water hoses, and guy ropes are also trip hazards and that one should not walk over foreign plots did not receive a response. We sent our fence and the other trip hazards via email for clarification/illustration. For us, staying at this campsite is no longer an option due to this handling of guests.

Good place even with dog, many permanent campers, not cheap

We booked the spot in advance, about 3/4 of the site rent was due upon booking, which I don't find insignificant. Since our RV has a total length beyond 8 m and a width including the awning of 5 m, we chose a premium spot (No. 295, very large!) which in hindsight would not have been necessary. The normal spots would have been fully sufficient and would have provided shade. The site is clearly dominated by permanent campers, which did not bother us. The sanitary facilities were always clean and sufficient. The not-so-small swimming lake on the campsite certainly represents a highlight. We were there with our dog, outside the site there is a good opportunity for a walk. Our spot No. 295 was ideal for this, although all other dogs walk right past it. Overall, we were very satisfied and will come back.

Small pitches, clean but expensive

The pitches are extremely small and way too expensive. The sanitary facilities are clean, but there is no privacy in the women's showers. There are no cabins. There is no entrance door to the shower room. Opposite in the hallway is a holiday apartment and when the guests go out, they watch people brushing their teeth, etc. In the stairwell, above the entrance to the toilet and shower room, there is a surveillance camera. The restaurant at the campsite is closed. There is no camping shop either. Definitely not recommendable for us.

Clean site, very small pitches lined up directly next to each other

The site is well-maintained. The sanitary facilities have been recently renovated. Almost exclusively permanent campers. Capitalism is very much alive here, even in the off-season it is very expensive. Connecting electricity costs €5 even though you have to do it yourself! Meter readings are also taken by yourself accordingly. The advertised swimming pond costs an additional €4 per person. Pitches are extremely small, 40-50 m² for a very high price. Campers are lined up next to each other and you can directly look into the neighbor's tent.

Cozy Campsite
Very good8
Matthias
Well located between the mountains. Clean, modernized sanitary facilities. Small shop with drinks and daily fresh bread rolls. Many permanent campers, but all very friendly. The small private swimming lake is perfect. Arrival between 12-2 PM was not possible. Shopping opportunity is about 500m away at a large Spar market.

Beautiful Location, but Outdated Facilities

The CP has a beautiful location between the mountains; you can hear a bit of the road and the adjacent tuning workshop. Many permanent campers. The sanitary facilities are from the 70s, with green-yellow tiles, but clean. Staff at the restaurant and reception are very friendly, food in the restaurant is okay, but nothing special. The plots are sometimes quite small. The kiosk is poorly stocked. The swimming lake is beautiful, but sometimes there are a lot of algae swimming around.
