Very Good Place!
The owner couple has modernized the campsite step by step in recent years. A very well-kept site. Very friendly owners. Good bistro with reasonable prices. An outdoor pool 100 meters away for €0.50 admission. Highly recommended. We will come back.

Well-maintained campground in beautiful surroundings
Very well-kept facility with very nice operators. Sanitary facility not new but tip-top clean and maintained with much love for detail.

Very nice atmosphere
Very well-maintained campsite. With super nice hosts. A lot is currently being invested and redesigned - with a lot of love for detail. We spent two nights in a barrel. Very nice :-) We would definitely come back, then with our bus or caravan. Absolutely recommendable campsite.

Very nice place with great bistro and excellent operators.
We were spontaneously here for the first test of our new bus. The place is beautifully laid out and really well-maintained. The bistro surprised us with an excellent range from café to dinner. And both the operators and the other staff are very, very nice! Conclusion: We would love to come back!

Campsite with a family atmosphere
Stadtsteinach, with its historic town centre and surrounding natural gems such as the Steinachklamm gorge, is located in the picturesque countryside of north-eastern Bavaria. Just 1.5 km from the town centre, Camping Stadtsteinach is an idyllic retreat for the whole family. The 3.5-hectare site is laid out in steps and divided by cosy hedges and trees. From the pitches, which are all equipped with electricity, holidaymakers can enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding, densely wooded hills. The campsite is also suitable for people with reduced mobility thanks to its disabled-friendly sanitary facilities. Dogs can be brought along for a small surcharge and other services include a Wi-Fi network, which is free of charge for one hour per day. Guests are welcome to order fresh bread rolls in the evening and enjoy freshly baked pastries from a local bakery the next day. The cosy Steinachstübla beer garden also provides culinary delights. Guests at the campsite also benefit from discounted entry to the outdoor pool right next door.
