Quiet, nicely located and relatively close to the city
We spent a weekend here. The place is beautifully situated and very well maintained. Even though it is quite crowded, it is still pleasantly quiet here. The city is about 3 km away. A good distance on foot, but quickly done by car. Recommendation here: avoid the Interparking Centrum parking garage… More

City Camping Top
Nice staff with uncomplicated check-in for spontaneous arrivals. Sanitary facilities, as previously described, clean, but... uh... vintage! Great location in the park. Restaurant on site with high-quality dishes and corresponding prices.

Very nice city square
Very beautiful in the greenery and located quite quietly for a city square. The distance to the city center is just under 3 km, a good way to walk, but it was the only option with our dogs. By bike, it's a hop away. The route mostly leads through the city park and bike paths. Ideal for exploring Gro… More

Very Relaxed Campsite
We drove to the campsite spontaneously and easily found an overnight spot. The owner explained to us how to get to the city in a friendly manner. Additionally, the Asian restaurant in the city park is recommended.

Helpfulness
The camping chairs had been forgotten at home. When I asked if there might be chairs left to borrow, the owner of the campsite immediately got me two chairs from his personal collection. Such kindness. Top

Beautiful location in a picturesque city
We spent three nights with the family in Groningen. The location in the greenery yet in the middle of the city is truly advantageous. Generous pitches, very friendly staff, and cleanliness speak for the place. Deduction is due for the sanitary facilities; they are clean but outdated.

Great campsite
Superbly located campsite. Quick bike ride to the very beautiful city center. Minus points unfortunately for the outdated sanitary facilities, unusable Wi-Fi (no reception) and toilet paper that must be taken with you.

Beautifully situated
The campsite is located in the city park of Groningen, surrounded by lots of greenery. You can easily bike into Groningen. The satellite reception is very poor. The staff is nice and explains the way. In the washroom, you don't have to pay for the showers, but only cold water comes out of the sin… More

Gastronomic offers
The comfortable Camping Stadspark combines the advantages of a location close to the centre of Groningen with an ambience that is both close to nature and exceptionally peaceful. Excellent natural and cultural leisure options nearby and good transport links make for a relaxing and varied camping holiday.
The 6-hectare campsite offers holidaymakers 125 largely parcelled-out pitches, each with an area of 100 m², providing plenty of peace and privacy. Electricity connections are available on the site and WLAN is also available in some areas. Well-maintained sanitary facilities and washrooms provide even more comfort on the dog-friendly campsite. One of the campsite's special features is its location in the middle of Groningen's 140-hectare city park. The surrounding, densely overgrown mixed forest around the campsite allows you to enjoy the idyllic natural surroundings, while the lively city centre is just over 3 km away and can be easily reached by bike or public transport. The multilingual staff at reception can also hire out bicycles on request. The diverse city of Groningen is an innovative city of contrasts and has something for everyone. Here, historical sights, such as the Gothic Martinitoren church built in 1220, meet the futuristic Groninger Museum with its contemporary art exhibitions. At the same time, the campsite is only around 40 kilometres away, making it easy to reach the Wadden Sea, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After a varied day out, you can indulge in culinary delights in the restaurant belonging to the campsite.
