Friendliness and cleanliness were evident, proximity to the beach, and various restaurants nearby.

A phone call prior to our arrival was handled in a friendly and proper manner. The assigned spot with a view of the sea was just right for our caravan. The almost new sanitation facilities were spotless and spacious. On Sunday, there was a large celebration in the beer garden and restaurant. The beach could be reached by bike or on foot. Getting to Bilbao for the Guggenheim Museum was easy by car or metro. Everything was perfect for us.

Unkempt and not clean Mid-September seems to show that cleaning is running on a low flame here. The toilet facility is unclean. This is partly due to user behavior but even more to maintenance. Dirty, many toilets are defective. The swimming pool is green and out of service. The grass is not cut. This is quite hefty for 45 euros.

Superb new sanitary facilities and great pool
Very good8
Gerd Ziems
The lady at the reception was very friendly and informative. The pitch at €45 is not cheap, but it’s okay for the advantages with the connection (metro) to Bilbao. The restaurant, supermarket, and pool were well attended, the sanitary facilities were super nice and clean. Here and there, it’s a bit tight with the maneuvering options. We also had water at the pitch. The pitch is really recommended.

Campsite for Visiting Bilbao

Pitches were unkempt, grass hadn’t been mowed for a long time, muddy from the rain. Maneuvering with the VW bus turned into a slippery affair. Electrical connections at the pitches were in a catastrophic state. The water supply points were unkempt and dirty. Only the sanitary building was relatively new, spacious with sufficient showers, sinks, and toilets. Everything very clean, cleaned several times a day. No clothes hooks at the sinks. Trash cans along the paths had not been emptied for a long time. The view from the site of the sea is obstructed by ugly residential buildings around the campsite. Therefore, the price of €44 per night for a pitch, 2 people, and electricity is too high. The metro station was about a 20-minute walk away, which was okay.

Small but Nice

Nice little campground (from June 1 to June 23, 42.75, from June 24 to the end of the season 47€). A bit expensive for the size of the pitches (suitable for vans/small campers). Very very nice and super clean restroom facilities!!. 5-minute walk to the beach, back 10 minutes (it's uphill) There is a small shop, you can rent bikes/surfboards and much more. (20 minutes by bike to the city (Bilbao)). All in all, worth a visit!

Suitable for smaller caravans and campers

Beautiful new sanitary building of high standard. Overall smaller area with narrow access to the terraced parking spaces. Restaurant very frequented and noisy ventilation. Pool still closed at the end of May. At 32 euros/night expensive. Partial sea view.

Poor Communication from Staff

Ute
Due to the contradictory information from the staff regarding check-out and the possibility of leaving the caravan in the parking lot, our planning for the day was completely thrown off. Additionally, the place is significantly overpriced given the services offered, despite the good view, making it the most expensive on a two-month trip and by far not the best...
