Well-maintained, cared for small site conveniently located near both the famous Keukenhof (Tulips) and the beach. Many long-term campers, all living in mobile homes, several of which can also be rented temporarily. As is typical in the Netherlands, plenty of space on the seasonal pitches. We also booked a private sanitary facility, which was very new and clean. No question, we will come back!

We were here spontaneously and received a friendly welcome with everything explained about where things are. Since it wasn't very busy yet, we chose our spot. Showers and toilets were clean. Many opportunities to do something. Through a rental company with registration via the app, you can rent bicycles that are located at the reception. I think that's great!

A small very quiet supersonic jet spot! We visit regularly and always use the private restrooms! They are always clean and in good condition! The beach by the lake is not far, and you can easily drive to the sea in a few minutes, and everything you want to see is also quickly reachable by car! The rolls at the kiosk are very tasty and inexpensive, and during the peak season, they put a lot of effort into the evening program and children's animation and a small framework! It is also highly recommended for dog owners! The spots are all well maintained and the staff is always helpful and friendly.

We came here spontaneously during the high season because all the popular spots by the sea were fully booked. Some comments reported that the sanitary facilities were very clean. Well, maybe that was due to the low season? Because for us, the facilities were not clean, they were only rarely cleaned (and if they were, it was only very superficially), the soap was constantly out, and it is a paradise for spiders and other insects. If you are afraid of spiders, you won't even want to go inside, because at the entrance there is an eight-legged welcoming committee. The site itself is unremarkable. The spots are no bigger than 80 square meters, but it was okay. Most have electricity and also water. The sites near the entrance have a longer walk to the restrooms/shower. The showers were included in the price. However, they were too hot and could not be adjusted. This is very annoying, especially with children. And they were not particularly clean either. The playground offers a mini soccer field and has aged quite a bit. There is a nest swing, a slide, a sandpit with very little sand, and that was about it. In the bistro there are breakfast rolls in the morning, which were good. The lake is super close - a plus point, and it’s not far to the sea either. It's also okay for dogs, you can quickly leave the site and there are many dog waste disposal stations. Anyone who wants to camp should take a pitch. Because the tent meadow is small and borders the chemical toilet disposal, whose odors waft beautifully over. The odors are also marked in the men's sanitary area because there is no wall between the chemical toilets and the normal toilets (just a normal toilet partition). We also spoke with campers who have been going there for years, and they said there were multiple changes in ownership, and cleanliness has been continuously declining over the years. All in all, a place we will definitely not return to. Shame, because the site has potential.

We found the place well organized and clean. Except for some dog owners, who don't seem to care much about cleaning up after their pets. The shower was not heated, which led to shivering in the early days of May. All facilities were clean and well-maintained. A good starting point for bike tours and visiting the tulip bloom - Keukenhof and the surrounding flower fields. Nice places to eat by the nearby lake.

The site is very clean. All parking and camping spots have electricity, water, and wastewater connections! Wi-Fi is also included in the price. The price of approximately €164 for 5 days includes ALL costs, including taxes, plus one dog from us. There are waste bag dispensers and the designated trash bins set up all around the site. The sanitary facilities are also very clean and are cleaned multiple times a day. The children's playground is also well-maintained. All paths are paved, and there are plastic mats laid out on the regular camping spots, through which the grass grows via perforation. It's sad that one has to search for the site on Google, but I have unfortunately noticed this with you, the ADAC, quite frequently as well, even in recent years in Denmark.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen. I would like to report on our unpleasant experiences with this campsite and would be pleased if you took this as an opportunity to inform other campers about the practices of this campsite and protect them from similar disappointments. We booked a one-week stay there. Afterwards, we were asked by invoice to transfer the total amount. With this invoice, we received some instructions on behavior at the campsite, but no information regarding the cancellation of the spot. When we really had to cancel and I inquired about when it would be possible, I was told that it could be done up to one week before arrival. After the cancellation was processed, I received a new invoice and this time also the cancellation terms (cancellation conditions), which indicated that they wanted to retain 95% of the rental price. Multiple inquiries, including the point that they failed to inform me about the cancellation terms with the first invoice (which was also acknowledged in an email), led to no agreement. Result: We lost 95% of the rental price, although the campsite operator failed to inform us beforehand about the cancellation terms! And this regardless of whether the spot could be rented out again during Easter holidays! Rest assured, that had we known these conditions, we would never have booked this place! When I book a hotel through Booking.com, I can still cancel it one day beforehand without cancellation fees. And some campsites take it upon themselves to demand such horrendous cancellation fees! That is unworthy of the camping spirit! Best regards, Rainer Weste
