The campsite is located above Porto in the mountains. From the pool area (1 large pool, 2 small pools for children), there is a fantastic view of the mountain panorama and the Gulf of Porto. The terrain is terraced, where everyone can find their little spot. Sanitary facilities are clean and well-maintained. Supermarket right next to the entrance. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the harbor/beach. About a 5-minute walk to beautiful swimming holes in the river, also suitable for smaller children. Due to the location and the town of Porto itself, this is so far the best campsite in Corsica for us.

Campsite with a great view. With the mountains at your back, you have a wonderful view of Porto and the sea behind it. The sanitary facilities are well-maintained. Unfortunately, not all camping spots are designated, which means it's left to the campers how they position and spread out. As a result, it was once again embarrassing and frustrating for us Germans when we noticed that a German camper took the 3 best spots by simply parking at the entrance in such a way that no one could get past his camper, not even us with a regular car. Otherwise, everything worked out relatively well. 😉 For a tent and car, we paid 24 euros per night in June. You can reach Porto via the footpath, so I find the costs justified. All in all, the campground is recommendable. And the ambience, I tell you, is really wow! 🤩
